Latavius Murray Falls Just Shy Of 100 Rushing Yards
Denver Broncos running back Latavius Murray took advantage of his new role as the unquestioned leader of the Broncos backfield in the 23-10 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 12 on Sunday, carrying the ball a team-high 13 times for a season-high 92 yards (7.1 yards per carry). He caught his only target in the passing game for a six-yard gain. Kendall Hinton, Marlon Mack and Montrell Washington combined for four carries behind Murray, so the 32-year-old should continue to see the lion's share of the backfield workload moving forward, albeit in the league's lowest-scoring offense. Murray should be considered a touchdown-dependent, low-upside RB2/3 heading into a Week 13 date with the Baltimore Ravens.
