Biggest Week 10 Busts: Fantasy Football Reactions for Alvin Kamara, Derrick Henry, D'Andre Swift, Amari Cooper, George Kittle

Several NFL players underwhelmed in Week 10 of the 2022 fantasy football season. Andersen identifies busts at each position and whether they'll bounce back.

The 10th NFL Sunday of the 2022 season has come and gone. Hopefully, you woke up on Monday morning feeling very good about how your week went. However, this week's slate of games was certainly stress-inducing for many fantasy football managers.

Part of that stress was caused by a group of players who drastically underachieved in Week 10. These players simply did not meet fantasy expectations, and it cost their managers in a big way. Let's take a look at the biggest busts from Week 10, as well as whether or not we can still have some trust in these players moving forward.

All point totals are based on the PPR scoring system.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Fantasy Football Quarterback Busts

Andy Dalton, 10.8 FPTS

Dalton underperformed for the second consecutive week, completing just 17 passes for 174 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. The veteran has been quite the boom-or-bust player this season, and there have been rumblings that Jameis Winston could take over under center soon. He should be viewed as a QB3 if he starts against the Rams in Week 11.

Fantasy Football Running Back Busts

Alvin Kamara, 7.5 FPTS

Kamara joined in the Saints' struggles, amassing just 26 rushing yards and 19 receiving yards. He has just 104 scrimmage yards over his last two games and should be faded to the RB2 tier ahead of next week's contest against Los Angeles.

Derrick Henry, 8.7 FPTS

Henry's fantasy output suffered amidst a truly ugly game between the Broncos and Titans. He finished the day with 53 rushing yards and 14 receiving yards while failing to find the end zone. The physical back should still be viewed as a high-end RB1 against the Packers next week.

Cordarrelle Patterson, 3.0 FPTS

Patterson was massively disappointing on Thursday night, accruing just 20 scrimmage yards in the loss to Carolina. Not only was it his worst outing of the season, but he also logged his lowest single-game snap share of 2022 (with the exception of Week 4 when he exited early). He is a low-floor, high-ceiling RB3 ahead of next week's game against the Bears.

David Montgomery, 5.4 FPTS

The Bears have the best rushing attack in the NFL, so it's surprising when you see an output like this from Montgomery. However, the fact of the matter is that Justin Fields has been responsible for most of Chicago's production on the ground, leaving Montgomery and Khalil Herbert (hip) to handle the scraps. The former is a fringe top-24 running back in fantasy football ahead of next week's game against a poor Falcons run defense.

D'Andre Swift, 8.2 FPTS

Swift had quite a weird fantasy performance on Sunday. He rushed just six times for six yards on the ground, adding a six-yard reception along the way. He would have finished the day with just the 2.2 fantasy points if not for adding a rushing touchdown. His role is unstable and unpredictable, but there's no denying his talent. Consider him a fringe top-24 running back in fantasy football ahead of next week's game against the Giants.

Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Busts

Amari Cooper, 6.2 FPTS

The Browns couldn't get much going offensively against the Dolphins. Cooper finished the day with just three catches for 32 yards, turning in his second-worst fantasy outing of 2022. He should be faded ahead of an even harder matchup against the Bills in Week 11.

D.J. Moore, 6.9 FPTS

Moore caught just four passes for 29 yards during Thursday's clash with the Falcons. There was optimism that Moore could boom since he produced 27.5 points in his last outing against Atlanta, but he had no such luck this time around. Moore will rank as a WR3 when the Panthers oppose the Ravens' porous secondary next week.

Allen Lazard, 7.5 FPTS

Lazard was quiet for most of the game on Sunday, though he did see some involvement toward the end of the contest. When all was said and done, he amassed three catches for 45 yards. He should be viewed as a high-end WR3 against the Titans next week.

Chase Claypool, 1.8 FPTS

Claypool's second game with the Bears went worse than his first as he finished with just one catch for eight yards. The 24-year-old is the No. 3 pass-catcher in a run-heavy offense, which isn't exactly the ideal equation for fantasy prosperity. With that said, his value could rise against a woeful Falcons secondary next week.

Joshua Palmer, 7.4 FPTS

Palmer was targeted eight times on Sunday night, but he finished with just three receptions for 44 yards. Although Palmer operated as the No. 1 receiver, it was DeAndre Carter who led the way with four catches, 64 yards, and one touchdown. Los Angeles takes on the Chiefs next week.

Fantasy Football Tight End Busts

George Kittle, 3.1 FPTS

Kittle caught just one pass for 21 yards on Sunday night. It was his worst outing of the season in terms of points, targets, receptions, and yards. With that said, he should bounce back against the Cardinals in Week 11.

Kyle Pitts, 4.8 FPTS

Hey, look, Pitts found his way into the bust article once again. He hauled in just two of eight targets on Thursday, finishing with fewer than five fantasy points for the sixth time this season. It's hard to justify starting him against the Bears next week.

Greg Dulcich, 2.1 FPTS

Duclich's big three-game run came to an end on Sunday as he caught just one pass for 11 yards. Even with Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler injured, Dulcich failed to emerge as a viable threat in the passing attack. Still, he has an appeal as a low-end TE1 against the Raiders next week.

Evan Engram, 4.4 FPTS

Engram has just four catches for 22 yards over his last two games, earning him a feature in this article once again. The Jaguars find themselves playing from behind quite often, which should bode well for Engram's production, but his inconsistent results so far drop him to the TE2 tier for the time being.

Robert Tonyan, 1.8 FPTS

It is fascinating that a team with so few receivers can ignore its talented tight end. Still, that was the case on Sunday as Tonyan caught one pass for eight yards, his lowest mark of the season. He falls outside of the TE1 tier when the Packers oppose the Titans in Week 11.
