Eduardo Rodriguez To Make One More Rehab Start
Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez (ribs) will most likely make one more rehab start. Tuesday's contest against the White Sox was viewed as a potential return for Rodriguez but manager A.J. Hinch told reporters that it will be a bullpen day instead. This would indicate that Rodriguez would get at least one more rehab start in Triple-A before returning to the team. The 29-year-old lefty has been on the shelf since May 22 with a left ribcage sprain. He posted a 1-3 record, 4.38 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and 34:17 K/BB ratio over 39 innings (eight starts) before sustaining the injury.
