Fantasy Football Trade Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider trading for or trading away heading into Week 13:

TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Patriots
Trade Value: 19.9
ROS Rank: 105

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson rushed for 66 yards on 18 carries during Sunday's Week 12 contest against the Cincinnati Bengals. He also caught three of his four targets for an additional 15 receiving yards. There was some concern about Henderson's role with Rhamondre Stevenson returning from injury. While Stevenson did earn some touches, Henderson remained the primary running back.

Now that he has the lead role all to himself, the rookie needs to turn his attention to improving his efficiency. He averaged 3.7 yards per carry on Sunday, just one game removed from averaging 3.3 yards per carry against the Jets. If he can improve his scoring or yardage efficiency, he can be an RB1 going forward. In the meantime, he ranks as more of a mid-range RB2 for Week 13 against the New York Giants.

Verdict: Top buy candidate as he was able to see more opportunities than the presumed starter, Stevenson, in their victory on Sunday.

Rashee Rice, WR, Chiefs
Trade Value: 87.7
ROS Rank: 7

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice basically carried the Chiefs' receiving game during Sunday's contest against the Indianapolis Colts. Rice was held in check for 38 yards last week, but managed to break out this weekend. He hauled in eight of his 12 targets for 141 yards and was held without a score in the overtime victory. He led the team in targets, receptions, and receiving yards during this game.

Fantasy managers who stuck with Rice through his suspension are getting great results now. He should once again be an elite option in a favorable matchup against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13.

Verdict: Buy at high-end WR1 price. Rice will remain an elite fantasy asset down the stretch.

Quinshon Judkins, RB, Browns
Trade Value: 48.9
ROS Rank: 43

Cleveland Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins averaged a paltry 2.9 yards per carry and had 47 rushing yards on 16 carries in the 24-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, but he saved his day for fantasy managers by scoring twice on the ground in the first half in Week 12. The 22-year-old was not targeted in the passing game and has not caught a pass in the last two games.

Judkins also suffered a head injury in the fourth quarter and was sent to the medical tent, but he was cleared before the end of the contest. The Ohio State product's head injury allowed Dylan Sampson to get some run late in the contest, and he took advantage of it by ripping off a 66-yard touchdown catch.

Judkins hasn't been very efficient on the ground in the last three games, but as long as he's healthy enough to play in Week 13 against the San Francisco 49ers, where he'll remain an RB2 play in fantasy football.

Verdict: Sneaky sell-high candidate following two-TD outing. His offensive environment will hinder his overall upside.

Ashton Jeanty, RB, Raiders
Trade Value: 55.8
ROS Rank: 34

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty had an underwhelming day on the ground in his team's Week 12 loss to the Cleveland Browns, recording just 50 rushing yards on 17 carries. However, the 21-year-old saved his fantasy production with a monster day as a receiver, recording eight catches for 58 yards and a touchdown on eight targets. With the Raiders' depleted offensive line struggling to open up holes in the ground game, receiving work has become an increasingly important part of Jeanty's repertoire in recent weeks.

Across his last four games, Jeanty has hauled in 22 receptions for 135 yards and two touchdowns on 26 targets. He's been targeted eight times in each of the last two weeks. The Raiders' overall inability to consistently move the ball limits Jeanty's ceiling, but he still profiles as a high-volume fantasy RB2 heading into a Week 13 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Verdict: Buy after an underwhelming performance at a discount. Jeanty will continue to hold high-end RB2 upside.

Who Should I Trade For?

Week 13 Trade Decisions. Today's focus is on specific players - TreVeyon Henderson, Quinshon Judkins, Emeka Egbuka, Breece Hall, Rashee Rice, DeVonta Smith, Ashton Jeanty. These are some key fantasy football names heading into this week's matchups.

Using The Trade Values. This is a simple trade value tool, but very powerful. In our fantasy football trade value rankings above, you will see the Trade Value for each player. The higher the number, the higher the priority for targeting in trades. Players with a high trade value number are players that you should be targeting more in trades.

How It Works. Each week, our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings, projections, and trade values based on their research. That information is the core data that is powering the decision-making in this trade value rankings.

How To Calculate Trades. Fantasy football managers will make 1-for-1 trades, or 2-for-3 trades, or 3-for-2 trades, or many other combinations. For each side of the deal, add the trade values together. Whichever side has a higher total number wins the trade. For example, if someone is offering you three players, add the trade values of those three players together. Does the value of those three players exceed the values of the player(s) you are trading away? If so then it's a good deal for you.
