Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 11:

Hunter Henry, TE, New England Patriots

New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry is a solid fantasy football starter in Week 11 against the New York Jets. Henry only had one catch last week, but he has been targeted 10 times over the last two games and is the overall TE15 in PPR leagues this year.

This Thursday night, he should see increased volume with backup tight end Austin Hooper (concussion) sidelined. Hooper's absence leaves Henry as the Patriots' only healthy tight end on gameday, excluding fullback/tight end Jack Westover, who has one target and zero catches this year. Therefore, Henry, who has already been playing more than three-quarters of the snaps and leading his position group in targets, should be even more involved against the Jets.

In addition to Hooper's absence, Henry stands to benefit from a very favorable matchup, as the Jets have allowed the second-most touchdowns to tight ends in 2025. Managers should view the 30-year-old as a top-12 tight end in fantasy football this week.

George Kittle, TE, San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle suffered a hamstring injury in the season opener and landed on Injured Reserve, so it's been a frustrating season for his fantasy managers. However, Kittle showed on Sunday why he's still a high-end fantasy TE when he's healthy.

In the team's 42-26 loss to the division-rival Los Angeles Rams in Week 10, he led the team by catching all nine of his targets for a season-high 84 receiving yards and his third touchdown of the season. Kittle's nine targets were tied for second on the team, and his nine catches and 84 receiving yards led the 49ers. The 32-year-old veteran's touchdown was a nifty show of athleticism as he tiptoed the sideline and dove for the pile-on.

Kittle also made a highlight-reel catch earlier in the game where he laid out with full extension to make the grab. He had more yards on Sunday than he did in his previous three games, and he could be starting to heat up just in time for quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) to potentially return in Week 11 against the Cardinals.

Brock Bowers, TE, Las Vegas Raiders

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers caught just one of his three targets for 31 yards during last Thursday's Week 10 loss against the Denver Broncos. Just a few days removed from a spectacular three-touchdown performance, Bowers came tumbling back down to earth with the first one-catch outing of his young career.

On a positive note, this week's dud was likely an anomaly, and he should bounce back in Week 11 against the Dallas Cowboys.

However, that doesn't negate the fact that Bowers massively underperformed his fantasy projection this week. Managers who started Bowers are likely to enter their Week 10 matchups with an early deficit.

Sam LaPorta, TE, Detroit Lions

Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta (back) was a non-participant in the first practice of the week on Wednesday due to a back injury, according to the team's website. LaPorta has two more chances to return to practice this week, but the 24-year-old's status definitely bears watching as the team prepares for a Sunday night showdown in Week 11 versus the Philadelphia Eagles.

If LaPorta's injury is serious enough to keep him from playing this weekend, Brock Wright would get added opportunities in Detroit's high-scoring offense. However, fantasy managers would still have better streaming options at the TE position this week.

If LaPorta cannot play, targets in the Lions' offense would probably be distributed more among running back Jahmyr Gibbs and receivers Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams. LaPorta has a nice 40-489-3 line on 49 targets through 10 weeks and is a must-start in fantasy when he's active.

Isaiah Likely, TE, Baltimore Ravens

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the Baltimore Ravens could consider using the franchise tag on tight end Isaiah Likely. Likely is currently in the final year of his rookie contract, and would earn roughly $12 million in 2026 under the tag.

After missing the start of the season with a broken foot, Likely has struggled to regain form, recording just 10 receptions for 103 yards through six games. The Ravens' tight end situation will be one to monitor next offseason, as veteran Mark Andrews is also approaching free agency.

If Likely can rebound, he could emerge as one of the more intriguing tight end options on the 2026 market.
