Parker Washington - Fantasy Football Rankings, Waiver Wire Pickups, Draft Sleepers

Updated weekend fantasy football waiver wire rankings for Week 9 of the 2025 NFL season. Top fantasy football free agents and streamers to add off waivers including Kyle Monangai, Tank Bigsby, Chimere Dike, Trey Benson, Travis Homer, more.

RotoBallers, we are back with more waiver wire advice and have updated our weekend waiver wire rankings for fantasy football Week 9 of the 2025 season. Now that the final injury reports are out for Week 9, it's time to scout the waiver wire to see if any of these players can help you pull out a victory this week. The updated waiver wire rankings are to help fantasy managers navigate through injuries, bye weeks, or if you are looking for a high-upside stash.

As injury updates come in throughout the week, and roster percentages increase as players are picked up, we adjust our waiver wire rankings, and you can find those below. Will Kyle Monangai be the Bears' featured back with D'Andre Swift ruled out? Is Parker Washington Jacksonville's No.2 WR with Travis Hunter placed on injured reserve? Is it time to stash Trey Benson as he's eligible to be activated from the IR next week?

These Week 9 waiver wire rankings are updated for the weekend by Nick Mariano, RotoBaller's lead fantasy football analyst and forecaster. For those who are not familiar, he brings you his weekly waiver wire rankings and priority adds for the top 85 options to consider across various positions and league sizes. Good luck in Week 9 on the waiver wire and in your matchups!

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Outlooks

Trey Benson, RB, Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals running back Trey Benson (knee) will miss at least one more game before his potential return, but he could be worth grabbing from the waiver wire this week if you have the roster flexibility to do so. Before his meniscus injury that required surgery, he had stepped in as the early-down workhorse after the season-ending foot injury to James Conner.

The Cardinals released Michael Carter, which indicates something is in motion at the position, which could mean a trade or that Benson will be back to take over the job very soon. Bam Knight will likely continue to carry the load this week, with Emari Demercado potentially mixing in as well.

The Cardinals have a great running back schedule the rest of the way, so whoever gets the playing time should have good value, and Benson would seem to have the inside track for that spot once he returns.

Kyle Monangai, RB, Bears

Chicago Bears rookie running back Kyle Monangai is in to handle the bulk of the carries with starter D'Andre Swift (groin) ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The rookie out of Rutgers has seen his workload increase over the last few weeks in a complementary role to Swift, but now should be expected to see the most touches of his young career.

Fantasy managers who have been holding Monangai this season have been waiting for an opportunity to plug-and-play him as an RB2, and the matchup doesn't get much better in Week 9 against a porous Bengals defense. In Monangai's only game with 10 or more touches this season, he produced 94 total yards and a touchdown on 15 touches in Week 7 against the Saints. Monangai profiles as a borderline RB1 in Week 9, ranking as RotoBaller's RB13 in PPR leagues.

Parker Washington, WR, Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington should be considered a waiver-wire pickup heading into the weekend after the Jaguars announced on Friday that they placed rookie first-rounder Travis Hunter (knee) on Injured Reserve due to a knee injury that he suffered in practice on Thursday. Hunter will not be eligible to play again until Week 13 against the division-rival Tennessee Titans on Sunday, Nov. 30.

In the meantime, Washington will see his role in the passing game increase dramatically next to Brian Thomas Jr. (shoulder) and Dyami Brown. Washington, 23, enters the team's Week 9 meeting with the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday with 17 catches on 35 targets for 207 yards and one touchdown in 2025. He has seen double-digit targets in two games this year and could very well be on his way to a third this weekend in Vegas, where he'll suddenly be on the WR4/flex radar in fantasy leagues.

Chimere Dike, WR, Titans

Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Chimere Dike has popped on fantasy managers' radars after producing over 16 fantasy points in back-to-back weekends. The 23-year-old vaulted himself into the top-15 receivers in last week's loss against the Colts, catching seven of eight targets for 93 yards.

Dike has continued to earn a larger percentage of snaps the previous three weeks, and has maximized his opportunity, earning 12 targets and hauling in 11 of them. The emerging star receiver will be tested in Week 9 in a tough matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Chargers have allowed the seventh fewest passing yards and the eighth fewest yards per reception (10.4). Dike has produced over 13 yards per reception over his last two performances. Dike is a viable flex option (RotoBaller's WR43) in deeper leagues in Week 9 and has an opportunity to cement himself as the No. 1 option in the Titans' passing attack.

Tyjae Spears, RB, Titans

Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears had a season high of carries in Sunday's loss against the Indianapolis Colts. The 24-year-old had nine carries for 59 yards and a touchdown, along with three catches for 23 yards on three targets. Spears finished with 17.2 fantasy points, marking the third straight game of having over seven fantasy points.

Heading into Week 9, Spears has a friendly matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, who have allowed the sixth-most yards per carry (4.9) and the second-most rushing touchdowns (10) this season. Spears has averaged 5.5 yards per carry since returning from a high-ankle sprain and has earned more touches each week as he's gotten further away from his injury.

The third-year running back has an opportunity to stack back-to-back strong performances and become the number one option in a talent-hungry offense. Spears is an RB3 heading into Week 9 with a favorable matchup and is a reliable flex option for fantasy managers.
