Week 13 Stream Team - Shallow and Deep-League Pickups

Kipp Heisterman picks his Streamer Teams for Week 13 of the 2020 NFL season. These fantasy football free agents could be valuable streamers and waiver wire pickups or adds for both deep and shallow leagues.

Welcome to Week 13 of the NFL season. Each week we will be providing streamer advice for all of those who need it, which is pretty much anyone and everyone. Streaming players with the best matchups each week as well as during your stud's bye weeks is an integral part of winning a fantasy championship and we are here to provide the best choices week in and week out.

Each week in this article, we will break down streamers for both shallower leagues of 8-10 teams (around 50% rostered or less) and deeper leagues of 14 or more teams (around 30% rostered or less). We will provide a specific roster in each type of league, which will include a QB, RB, WR, TE, and Flex. It should also be noted that if you play in a deep league, but a shallow-league player mentioned here is available in your league, feel free to stream them as

Last week was a mess with the Ravens at the Steelers game, but the rest of the slate and the picks in this article did not seem to be affected too much since we did not recommend any Broncos. Without further adieu, here are this week's top streaming candidates.

Stream Team for Shallow Leagues (<50% Rostered)

Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings

49% Rostered

Cousins has a solid matchup vs. the Jaguars Defense as they are allowing over 275 passing yards per game to quarterbacks over the previous four weeks, which ranks in the bottom 10 of the league over that span. They are also giving up over 21 fantasy points per game to the position and have allowed six passing touchdowns in that same span. Add in the fact that Adam Theilen is likely to return and you have a nice streaming candidate in Cousins.

Carlos Hyde, Seattle Seahawks

36% Rostered

Take this recommendation as a grain of salt due to the uncertainty and doubt Pete Carroll has put in people's minds after using Hyde heavily in Week 12 at the Eagles while having a presumably healthy Chris Carson on hand. Hyde carried the ball 15 times last week, which is too much volume to ignore. If the Seahawks choose to continue to ease Carson back into the fold, Hyde makes for a solid streaming candidate week in and week out until further notice. This week, he will be facing the Giants who have allowed an average of over 22 fantasy points per game to backs over the previous four weeks.

Sterling Shepard, New York Giants

52% Rostered

Shepard was in this article last week and had a solid day by putting up seven receptions for 64 yards against the Bengals. This week, Shepard gets the dream matchup vs. the Seattle secondary who have allowed wide receivers to go for 916 receiving yards over the previous four weeks. They are also allowing an average of nearly 18 receptions per game as well as over 30 fantasy points per game to the position. The fact that the Giants are 10-point underdogs should also help Shepard's volume.

Jordan Reed, San Francisco 49ers

24% Rostered

Reed has stepped in admirably when called upon by the 49ers this season. He will be facing a Bills Defense that has allowed nearly 10 fantasy points per game to tight ends over the previous four weeks. They are allowing tight ends to haul in over six receptions per game and have also given up over 52 receiving yards per game across that same span.

Keelan Cole Sr., Jacksonville Jaguars

27% Rostered

Cole has been steadily targeted by all Jaguars' quarterbacks this season as he has averaged over five targets per game. The Jaguars are 9.5 point underdogs and will be facing a Vikings' secondary that has given up five touchdowns to wideouts over the previous four weeks. They have also allowed an average of over 136 receiving yards per game to the position.

Stream Team for Deep Leagues (<30% Rostered)

Philip Rivers, Indianapolis Colts

34% Rostered

Rivers gets a nice matchup vs. the Texans in a game that is expected to be close as noted by the -3.5 Colts spread. The Texans are allowing quarterbacks to throw for over 262 passing yards per game over the previous four weeks and have also allowed running backs to catch six passes per game, which means Rivers to Nyheim Hines could be a solid combination this week.

Cam Akers, Los Angeles Rams

38% Rostered

Akers worked well last week as he carried the ball nine times for 84 yards and a score. This week, he will be facing a Cardinals Defense that is allowing over four yards per carry to running backs over the previous four weeks. If the Rams decide to get the ball moving on the ground as they have in previous contests, Akers could be in line for another solid performance here.

Darnell Mooney, Chicago Bears

8% Rostered

Darnell Mooney saw nine targets vs. the Packers last week from Mitchell Trubisky and gets an even better matchup this week against the Detroit Lions. The Lions are allowing over 35 fantasy points per game to wide receivers over the previous four weeks, which ranks fifth-worst in the league. They have allowed an average of 178 receiving yards per game as well as 16 receptions per game to the position over that same span.

Trey Burton, Indianapolis Colts

25% Rostered

While the Texans have been better lately vs. tight ends, they still struggle on the season and are allowing over seven fantasy points per game to the position over the previous four weeks. Last week, they allowed T.J. Hockenson to haul in five passes for 89 yards. Trey Burton has been a consistent target for Rivers in 2020 and has seen 11 targets in the previous two weeks. He should be able to have a solid day vs. this defense and could pair well with Rivers if you need to stream a quarterback.

Josh Reynolds, Los Angeles Rams

9% Rostered

Josh Reynolds has become a big part of the Rams' offense since Week 7 as he has averaged nearly eight targets per game over that span. He will be going up against a Cardinals secondary that is allowing over 34 fantasy points per game to wide receivers over the previous four weeks, which ranks eighth-worst in the league. With Patrick Peterson likely locking down one of Robert Woods or Cooper Kupp in this game, you could definitely see an increased target share for Reynolds and he could be in line for one of his biggest games of 2020.
