The fantasy baseball offseason continues to heat up, and the heart of the draft season is upon us. At RotoBaller HQ, we continue our rankings series with our MLB team's updated 2025 fantasy baseball relief pitcher and closer rankings and tiers for roto leagues (5x5 category mixed leagues).
Closers are the most volatile position in fantasy baseball due to role changes, injuries, team changes, and other factors. Should fantasy managers spend an early-round pick on a relief pitcher? It depends, in 15-team, drafting a top close gives an advantage so that you are not spending half your FAAB in April. Emmanuel Clase was the top closer in baseball after racking up 47 saves with a .061 ERA last season.
