Should I Start Tucker Kraft in Week 1?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12-team leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1
ANALYSIS: Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft saw his role in the passing attack increase in 2024, and he appeared poised for a breakout campaign in 2205. After catching just 31 passes for 355 yards and two scores as a rookie in 2023, Kraft nearly doubled those marks in his sophomore campaign, racking up 7070 yards and seven catches on 50catches.
He showed impressive big-play ability as he caught two passes for longer than 40+ yards and 11 for longer than 20+ yards. He was able to take a significant step forward, despite his quarterback, Jordan Love, missing time and dealing with numerous injuries.
However, with Love fully healthy, Kraft could take an even further step forward in 2025.
This weekend, the Packers could be without several of their top wide receivers as Jayden Reed (foot), Dontayvion Wicks (calf), and Savion Williams (hamstring) are all listed as questionable. While Wicks and Williams are expected to have a depth role, Reed is typically a starting option in the offense and would open up ample targets for Kraft.
If Reed were to sit out, Kraft could slot in as the team's No. 2 passing option alongside top rookie wideout Matthew Golden and veteran Romeo Doubs.
Given the potential for this contest against the Lions to be relatively high-scoring, Kraft possesses solid TE1 upside in all formats and could push for a top-7 finish at the position if Reed were to miss this game.

Should I Start Dalton Kincaid in Week 1?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 14-team leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: High-end TE2
ANALYSIS: Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid entered the league with high expectations after being selected with the 25th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Utah. As a rookie, Kincaid showed flashes, totaling 673 receiving yards with two touchdowns on 73 catches.
However, in 2024, Kincaid took a significant step back. The young tight end caught only 44 passes for 448 yards and two touchdowns. Throughout the season, Kincaid consistently lost opportunities to veteran tight end Dawson Knox, which significantly hindered his upside.
Fantasy managers should not expect a massive rebound season in 2025. According to Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic, Kincaid may continue to see his snaps limited due to his skills as a blocker. With Knox being more trusted by the coaching staff in blocking situations, Kincaid will likely have a limited ceiling due to his capped opportunities.
While he could develop as the season progresses, in Week 1, Kincaid may not see as many opportunities as fantasy managers would hope. As a result, facing a formidable Baltimore defense, Kincaid is best left as a desperation TE2 in 14+ team leagues and should be kept on the bench in all standard formats.

Should I Start Hunter Henry in Week 1?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ team leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end TE1
ANALYSIS: Tight end Hunter Henry was one of the most stable options in the New England passing attack last season. In 2024, the 30-yea-rold enjoeyd a carerer- year catching 66 passes for 674 reiceing yard. This was only the second his career that Henry caught at least 60 passes in a single season, and just the fourth time he tallied more than 600 yards.
Henry found the back of the end zone twice and also saw 90+ total targets for the second time in his career.
While the Patriots did add veteran Stefon Diggs to lead the wide receiver room, Henry could still operate as a top option for second-year QB Drake Maye. Outside of Diggs, their wide receiver room lacks many proven options, and Henry typically saw a larger role than most of them last season, including DeMario Douglas and Kayshon Boutte.
In addition, Austin Hooper stands as the clear TE2 on the depth chart and should not take many opportunities away from Henry this season.
Facing the Las Vegas Raiders, Henry carries a high floor in PPR formats and projects to be a low-end TE1. While he may not possess the same ceiling that other fringe TE1s do this week, like rookie Tyler Warren or Green Bay's Tucker Kraft, he likely sees a higher target share given the state of the New England offense.
