ANALYSIS: How is it possible that Tim Patrick is still rostered in only one-fifth of Yahoo leagues!? It's been two weeks since Jerry Jeudy went to the shelf, and Patrick has put up three consecutive games of 12+ PPR points finishing in the WR24-to-WR42 clip in all matches he's played this season. Yes, nothing incredible, but also nothing bad enough as to not having him rostered in way more than just 22 percent of leagues, folks. It's time to right your wrongs.
The upside attached to Patrick's name is not going to be sky-high with or without Jeudy on the lineup. That's what happens when you have QB Teddy Bridgewater throwing the ball in an offense in which only one WR/TE (Courtland Sutton) has seen double-digit targets once in three weeks. That being said, though, the efficiency of all Broncos pass-catchers must be acknowledged as the unit as a whole is grabbing 77.5% of the passes thrown their way through three games.
Patrick led all Broncos with 14.8 PPR points to the tune of a perfect 5-for-5 catch game for 98 yards. He only lacked the touchdown, though no receiver could score one for Denver this past weekend, and he already scored one in each of the past two games to kick the year off. Patrick is locked into a WR2/WR3 role in this offense, will keep getting chances (even on low volume), and is efficient enough to see him finish in the WR2/WR3 realm weekly. Must-have in deeper formats if only because of his healthy role and startable at either WR3/FLEX slots but no higher because of Bridgewater's lack of booming numbers.
