Should I stash Dylan Crews in fantasy baseball redraft leagues? Andy discusses if the Washington Nationals outfield prospect is worth stashing in Week 15 (2024).
Washington Nationals outfield prospect Dylan Crews was selected with the second overall pick in last year's draft out of LSU.
In his final season at LSU in 2023, the outfielder won a national championship and posted a stellar .426/.567/.713 slash line with 18 home runs, 16 doubles, 70 RBI, and a 71:46 BB:K ratio.
Through his first two seasons in the minor leagues, Crews has already begun to show his elite potential and could reach the major leagues as soon as this summer.
How High Is Dylan Crews' Fantasy Baseball Potential?
The 22-year-old is considered the fourth-best prospect in all of baseball on MLB Pipeline and second in the Washington system. He currently sits behind outfielder James Wood, who recently made his major league debut.
Crews opened the season with Double-A Harrisburg and posted a .274/.343/.446 slash line with five home runs, 38 RBI, 15 stolen bases, and a 16:50 BB:K ratio. Last summer, the young outfielder got a small 20-game taste of Double-A where he posted a much worse .208/.318/.278 line with zero round-trippers and just five RBI.

It was great to see the budding superstar take such a significant step forward in just one offseason in the higher levels of the minor leagues.
When Might Dylan Crews Get A Major League Opportunity?
Crews recently earned a Triple-A promotion on June 17, which means he is now just one stop away from the nation's capital. In his first 14 games with Triple-A Rochester, Crews has held a .254/.288/.413 line with two long balls and nine RBI.

During this span, Crews has only gone hitless three times and posted five multi-hit performances.
The LSU product has looked quite comfortable in his first taste of Triple-A, which is a great sign for redraft managers who are looking to stash him. Crews has superstar potential and could push any fantasy team over the edge late in the season.
For now, he is worth stashing in deeper redraft leagues but could enter "must-stash" territory if he continues to perform at a high level at Triple-A.
