BALLER MOVE:
- Add Roschon Johnson in 12+ Team PPR Leagues (21% Rostered)
- Add Rico Dowdle in 12+ Team Leagues (11% Rostered)
- Add Jonathan Mingo in 14+ Team PPR Leagues (14% Rostered)
ANALYSIS: The Bears' backfield situation has fluctuated week-to-week, but Roschon Johnson led all Chicago running backs in rushing yards (36) and receiving yards (24) in Week 15. Even if the Bears win out, they are long shots to make the playoffs. If Chicago views Johnson as the running back of the future, he should be given RB1 duties in the final part of the 2023 campaign.
Rico Dowdle doesn't have value in all games, but he can be utilized as a low-end flex play in deep leagues. However, his best value is as a top-tier handcuff running back for Tony Pollard. Although Dowdle is running out of chances to draw a start, he'd be a must-start option with RB1 upside in Week 17 if Pollard gets banged up in Week 16.
Jonathan Mingo saw just five targets in Week 15 against the Atlanta Falcons. However, he earned at least nine targets in his previous two outings. The Panthers are obviously eliminated from playoff contention, so expect the emphasis on offense to be the development of Bryce Young and Mingo's chemistry.
The rookie hasn't played on fewer than 86% of the team's offensive snaps in healthy games this year, and he'll continue to be a key piece on offense over the next three weeks. His upside is limited by a struggling offense, but he could produce a big fantasy outing down the stretch due to pure PPR production.
