Welcome to Week 3 of the NFL Season! Each week, I'll be bringing you our famous NFL DFS Cheat Sheet with expert research and picks for cash games and GPPs. Here are a few notes about the sheet.
- We are officially now using 2023 DATA! It's only been two weeks, but we are going roll with it going forward.
- Green means GO (good for the player) while red reflects a poor rating/matchup. The more green, the better...
- In fact, CASH CORE pieces are highlighted with BRIGHT GREEN highlighter on the chart for extra emphasis.
- The "fantasy points allowed rank" reflects how a player's opponent ranked in fantasy points allowed to their specific position. The lower the number, the better the matchup.
- Passing and Rushing game matchups are once again DVOA ratings as I regained access to that metric and I find it to be super helpful.
- A play labeled "cash" is a higher-owned play that is recommended for cash games. A "strong" play is playable in all formats. "Slate-breakers" are some of my favorite GPP targets for upside or reduced ownership.
- Vegas and risk columns will all be updated during the week to reflect injury info, weather info, and the most recent Vegas info.

Cash Game Cores
DraftKings: Jefferson, Etienne, Kelley
FanDuel: Jefferson, Etienne, Kelley
With Ekeler out, I am comfortable using Joshua Kelley for value. I think Ford is still fine, but Kelley has more upside in am much better matchup and better game environment.
Deeper GPP Flyers
This is where I want to give you some other players who will be in my player pool, who didn't make the cut for the cheat sheet. The main recommended plays are always going to be geared more toward cash games and single-entry tournaments, but here are some lower-owned options for large-field tournaments.
QB: Lamar Jackson, Jared Goff, Geno Smith, C.J. Stroud
RB: Rhamondre Stevenson, Miles Sanders, Zack Moss, Tony Jones Jr. + Kendre Miller
WR: CeeDee Lamb, Calvin Ridley, Mike Williams, Jordan Addison, Michael Thomas, Rashid Shaheed, Adam Thielen, Tank Dell
TE: Luke Musgrave, Durham Smythe, Taysom Hill
DEFENSE (In the order of safest to riskiest): BUF, NYJ, WAS, NO, NE, CLE

Saturday Updates:
Latest injury updates, let's go!
Dalton is now under center for Carolina instead of Bryce Young. I bump up Adam Thielen a little bit as a punt play and upgrade the Carolina guys a bit, but it's not something we have to force into lineups this week.
I already mentioned Ekeler is out. Kelley is going into cash builds for me and I will strongly consider Keenan Allen for final cash lineup and a lot of GPP exposure.
Jamaal Williams is out, which means you can punt with Tony Jones Jr or Kendre Miller in a decent spot there, but those are dart throw, large-field GPP plays.
Josh Reynolds and Amon-Ra St. Brown are both still questionable, but looking more like probable - I think both guy suits up and will have exposure to both.
Cam Akers is not going to play this week, meaning Mattison is a sneaky GPP play for one more week in good spot against the Chargers.
David Montgomery is doubtful, it could be a big week for Jahmyr Gibbs!
Jaylen Waddle - still questionable. His status doesn't really take me on or off anyone, I will have some Hill shares and I am still rocking Mostert in cash games.
There are a number of other "Q" tags out there but not really many impactful players. I feel pretty good building lineups today (Saturday) without too much changing from what we anticipate for tomorrow.

MIN-LAC: Cousins-Jefferson-Allen (also consider Herbert, Williams, Addison and both RBs)
HOU-JAX: Stroud-Collins-Etienne (also consider Ridley, Dell)
ATL-DET: Goff-Reynolds-Robinson (also consider Ridder, London, St. Brown, LaPorta)
