We also have one of the best arms in the big leagues on the bump tonight so it will be interesting to build lineups with both tonight.

Chase Burns, SP - CIN ($10.5K DK/$11.2K FD)
Chase Burns will be featured in this article every single time he pitches. Tonight, he gets an awesome matchup against the San Diego Padres at Petco Park. This is a major ballpark upgrade for Burns in a premier matchup.
Chase Burns has pitched to a 3.19 xFIP, 29.7% K%, 15.4% SwStr%, and a 0.95 WHIP this season. He has been in tremendous form with a 37.0% K% and a 0.97 WHIP over his last two starts. Burns has a 29.6% projected K% with 6.74 strikeouts in this matchup.
The Padres have struggled this season. They have a 23.3% K%, .651 OPS, and an 87 wRC+ against RHP. Over the last 14 days, they have a 25.6% K%, 512 OPS, and a 53 wRC+. If we look at just the last 14 days, my model has Burns for a 36.2% K%. This matchup is elite.

The Athletics will continue their three-game series in the Las Vegas Ballpark. It will be in the mid-80s again tonight with a 10+ mph wind blowing out. This is a premier hitting park in the Pacific Coast League, and I expect a ton of offense tonight.
The Athletics have a 5.7 implied run total in my model tonight and the second-highest stack grade in my handiness model. Robert Gasser has a 5.82 xFIP, 1.43 WHIP, 1.35 HR/9, 52.5% FB%, and a 35.0% Hard Hit%. In these conditions, the fly balls are going to be an issue.
The Athletics have crushed LHP this season and are red hot as of late. They have a .776 OPS and a 114 wRC+ over the L30 days. I love the Athletics in this matchup.

PCA is the second-highest-graded hitter in my Handiness model tonight, right behind his teammate Ian Happ. PCA has a .492 wOBA, .366 ISO, and a 1.154 OPS over his last 45 ABs against RHP. He will square off against Tomoyuki Sugano, who has allowed a .562 wOBA, .529 ISO, and a 1.500 OPS against LHH during that span.
