I have updated my model to include the actual projections for strikeouts and moneylines for each team. This is important for fantasy points to accumulate predictions on strikeout points and wins. I will be referring to the model throughout today's article.

Spencer Arrighetti, SP - HOU ($7.0K DK/$7.3K FD)
Spencer Arrighetti makes his season debut tonight for the Astros against the Colorado Rockies at Daikin Park. Arrighetti has been great in Triple-A in his three starts. He has a 1.74 ERA, with 16 Ks in 10.1 IP.
My model projects him for 4.31 Ks and the Rockies for a 4.4 implied run total, but he still looks good to me given his price on both sites. In 2025, Arrighetti posted a 5.03 xFIP, 19.9% K%, and 10.7% SwStr%. 2026 projections have him posting a 4.80 xFIP, 21.5% K%, and 10.8% SwStr%.
The Rockies this season against RHP have a 26.3% K%, .695 OPS, and an 82 wRC+. I don't love this spot, but when you bake in the price, he's too cheap and should be considered, in all formats, a SP1.

New York Yankees (Model Projected IRT (Implied Run Total)- 5.9) vs. Jack Kochanowicz
I said this multiple times last year, and I will say it again. I have no idea how Jack Kochanowicz is still pitching in the big leagues, but here we are. He will square off against the New York Yankees tonight at Yankee Stadium, with the weather being in the mid-80s and a 10+ mph wind blowing out to dead center.
My model projects the Yankees for a 5.9 implied run total, which is the highest on tonight's slate. Kochanowicz has allowed a 5.03 xFIP, 16.7% K%, 1.26 WHIP, and a 34.7% Hard Hit% this season. He has been lucky this season, pitching to a 3.24 ERA but a 5.41 SIERA. This is the negative regression spot.
I have highlighted the Yankees' struggles against LHP, but the opposite is true against RHP. They have a .763 OPS and a 121 wRC+ against RHP in 2026. Fire up the Yankees.

Ben Rice is an elite play tonight and my favorite play from the Yankees. I will be overexposed to him in all formats. Kochanowicz allowed LHH to slash .309/.393/.489 with 17 HRs against him last season. Rice is white hot, slashing .400/.551/.914 with a 1.465 OPS and four HRs against RHP already this season.
