Welcome Back, RotoBallers! We have a loaded Sunday slate on deck for us as all 30 teams are in action. If you are on the West Coast, get your coffee going cause we've got 9 am baseball to watch! In my article on Friday, I was able to nail two home runs, and had I not gotten cute with PCA and just gone with Ian Happ, I could have made it three. Oh well, on to today, let's keep the momentum rolling!

Below, you'll be able to read about my favorite home run props from MLB games on Sunday, May 31, 2026. The current odds given reflect the best price as of the time of publication, but remember to always shop around at other sportsbooks so you can get the most value on your home run wagers. MLB Prop Bets - Today's Home Run Prop Picks (5/31/2026)
Hunter Goodman OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+280, Fanatics)
Hunter Goodman has been electric this season. He is up to 13 home runs on the season, which leads the Rockies. He is going up against Robbie Ray, who has struggled heavily this season against righties. All 13 of his home runs were hit by righties, and he's given up at least one home run in all but two starts this season. In his last three starts, he hasn't even been able to make five full innings.
Righties are sporting a .521 SLG, .275 ISO, 14.6% Barrel%, and 41.5% HardHit% against Ray. We are getting some nice weather in Coors, but I wouldn't expect a boost to the ball as the wind is fairly mild and we are getting heat in the mid 70s. The elevation will be the only boost we will see to the ball, which is always nice.

Overall, the Rockies haven't hit lefties well, but Goodman has hit them well. He has even hit Ray pretty well; in nine ABs, he has five hits. Overall this season, Goodman has hit lefties to the tune of a .518 SLG, .268 ISO, 24.1% Barrel%, and a 48.3% HardHit%. The odds aren't great to look at, but I think this is one of the best home run spots on the slate.
James Wood OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+375, Hard Rock)
The odds on this aren't going to be very good, but I like this spot quite a bit. James Wood is having a fantastic season so far and is already up 15 home runs on the season, 11 of which are against RHP, which is tied with teammate CJ Abrams. Who also makes for a great play. I'm going with Wood here because of his recent success with strong hits. He is averaging a 100.2 mph exit velocity on batted balls in his last five games against righties.
He has been crushing the ball all season long, with his absurd 30.1% Barrel% and ridiculous 60.2% HardHit%. This guy has been nothing but straight power and is going up against a guy in Griffin Canning who has struggled against lefties early on in the season. He has given up four home runs to lefties in the first five starts of the season. His ERA is already sitting at 7.54, and most of that damage has come against lefties.
Lefties are sporting a .558 SLG, .288 ISO, 19% Barrel%, and a 59.5% HardHit% against Canning this season. This is the perfect opportunity for Wood to smack one out of Nationals Park. Stay tuned in, though, as I think this game makes for a great spot to get an SGP going.
