MLB Prop Bets - Today's Home Run Prop Picks (5/24/2026)

Junior Caminero OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+500, Fanatics)

This Tampa Bay Rays team has been a massive surprise this year; they lead the AL East by four games and take on their AL East rival, the Yankees. The Rays are getting a great matchup, especially if you are a righty. Ryan Weathers has been a solid pitcher, but he has struggled to keep the long ball in check. RHH have hit eight home runs off of him and slugging .425 to go along with a .196 ISO, 17.6% Barrel%, and 43.5% HardHit%.

Truly, there has only been one righty for the Rays who has hit lefties well this season. It's none other than Junior Caminero. He has three home runs off lefties, including his 13 total home runs this season. Caminero is the only player on the team with a Barrel% of 7% or higher versus lefties. Caminero leads with an impressive 16.3% Barrel%, to go along with his 46.5% HardHit%, .479 SLG, and .208 ISO.

Caminero is also not striking out often against lefties at only 10.4% on the season. Across the last five games against lefties, Junior Caminero leads the whole league in average exit velocity at 99.9 mph! He is beyond crushing them right now. If he can get under the ball a bit better, then he will have no issue hitting one out of Yankee Stadium.

The weather is looking a bit crappy at the moment, but I think if he continues hitting the ball as hard as he has been, he's going to cut through the wind quite easily.

Alec Burleson OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+390, Fanatics)

Brady Singer is 10 starts into the season and is already approaching his home run total from last season at 18. He has currently given up 14 home runs on the season, 10 of which have come against lefties. The Cardinals don't have too many options for lefties, so it really came down to either Alec Burleson or JJ Wetherholt. Both are great options, but I'm leaning towards Burleson here. He has been hitting the ball really well lately.

Across the last five games, he is fourth on the team against righties in average exit velocity at 92.5 mph. He has five hits in his last eight ABs against righties, four of which had exit velos of 95 mph or higher. On the season, Burleson has six home runs against righties with an SLG of .541, an ISO of .215, a Barrel% of 12.6%, and a 47.8% HardHit%. The only person on the team with higher stats than Burleson is Jordan Walker, who has been on an absolute tear of his own.

Singer has been getting destroyed by lefties; they have some insane splits against him. A SLG of .680, an ISO of .295, a 14.3% Barrel%, and a 48% HardHit%. They are playing at Great American Ball Park with some great weather expected. This is lining up to be a great spot for a couple of guys on this slate. I think Burleson, Walker, and Wetherholt are all viable options. I think we are getting some solid odds on him, too.
