Week 15 PPR Running Back Rankings for Fantasy Football: Antonio Gibson, Ezekiel Elliott, De'Von Achane, Chuba Hubbard

Antonio Gibson - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Updated Week 15 fantasy football running back rankings for PPR scoring. Set winning lineups with our Week 15 ranks for fantasy football and the 2023 NFL season.

Hey, Rotoballers! Week 15 is finally here, which means it's fantasy playoff time. There are some critical injuries for fantasy managers to be aware of as Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. has been ruled out versus the Rams. Antonio Gibson should see an expanded role with Robinson sidelined. We are here to guide you through it all with our PPR fantasy football running back rankings for Week 15 to help fantasy managers with those tough start/sit decisions.

Will De'Von Achane (toe) play in Week 15 against the Jets? Is Aaron Jones (knee) returning to action in Week 15 after missing the last three games with a knee injury? Can Ezekiel Elliott build on his impressive Week 14 performance in Sunday's matchup against the Chiefs? Find out where Achane, Jones, and Elliott rank in Week 15 among other backs like Ezekiel Elliott, De'Von Achane, Chuba Hubbard, and James Cook

Our PPR fantasy football running back rankings for Week 15 are assembled by Nick MarianoScott EngelAndersen Pickard, and Brandon Murchinson. In addition to our staff rankings, below you will find a summary of this week's important fantasy football injury news. There are always critical injuries to track, so check back until kickoff.

Week 15 Running Back Rankings Analysis

A new feature has been added to our weekly fantasy football rankings article. Below, you will find our fantasy football outlooks for key running back options in Week 13, which gives readers a matchup preview of that player and advice on whether to start or avoid for the upcoming week. We provide outlooks for all 32 NFL teams, which can be found on our player profile pages and our fantasy football news desk.

Antonio Gibson, RB, Washington Commanders
Week 15 Overall PPR Rankings: 45
Week 15 Running Back PPR Rankings: 20

Washington Commanders running back Antonio Gibson has a chance to be a strong play this week. In Week 15, the Commanders are taking on the Los Angeles Rams, and the fourth-year pro will be operating as lead back. Fellow running back Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring) has been ruled out for this week, making Gibson a candidate for more rushing volume in addition to his usual receiving usage.

He'll likely be splitting some carries with rookie Chris Rodriguez Jr., but this expanded workload could make him one of the better starting options this week. Consider Gibson a mid-range RB2 against the Rams in Week 15.

Ezekiel Elliott, RB, New England Patriots
Week 15 Overall PPR Rankings: 11
Week 15 Running Back PPR Rankings: 7

New England Patriots running back Ezekiel Elliott rushed 22 times for 68 yards during Thursday's upset win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was also quite impressive in the passing game, catching seven of eight targets for 72 receiving yards and one touchdown. The veteran running back saw a drastically increased role in Week 14 with Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) sidelined and wasted no time getting involved.

Elliott was the Patriots' top weapon on offense and has delivered key production as a pass-catcher midway through his age-28 season. Even with a trickier matchup against the Chiefs on tap, Elliott will remain a low-end fantasy RB2 option in Week 15.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, Kansas City Chiefs
Week 15 Overall PPR Rankings: 87
Week 15 Running Back PPR Rankings: 33

Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire mostly failed to capitalize on a golden opportunity in his Week 14 return as the team's lead back with Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) out. Other than a 20-yard catch, the 24-year-old former first-round pick wasn't impressive in plodding his way to 39 ground yards on 11 carries. There's good news for fantasy managers; Edwards-Helaire easily set a new season-best with a 48.5% snap share and matched a season-high with 12 routes run.

Jerick McKinnon crossed the end zone last Sunday, but his overall opportunity hardly expanded. CEH should handle a similar role in Week 15 against the New England Patriots, with Pacheco still out and the Chiefs checking in as considerable favorites. While not the most appealing RB2 of the bunch, CEH remains a volume-driven plug-and-play option against a Pats squad bottling up opposing RBs for the fewest yards per carry (3.2) in the NFL.

Chuba Hubbard, RB, Carolina Panthers
Week 15 Overall PPR Rankings: 55
Week 15 Running Back PPR Rankings: 26

Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard has been leaned on heavily since Chris Tabor took over as the team's interim head coach. In the two games since Frank Reich was fired, Hubbard has seen 48 carries and seven catches as Tabor has trusted him as the lead back. With two touchdowns in his past two games, Hubbard will now take on the Atlanta Falcons at home in Week 15.

The Falcons have been tough against the run this season, as they allow just the 29th-most fantasy points per game to the position. Hubbard will have his work cut out for him, but he should see enough volume to treat as a low-end RB2 this weekend.

De'Von Achane, RB, Miami Dolphins
Week 15 Overall PPR Rankings: 47
Week 15 Running Back PPR Rankings: 22

Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane (toe) participated in his first practice of the week this Friday. He was limited and is officially questionable to play against the New York Jets on Sunday. The rookie offers game-changing speed but has struggled to stay healthy in his first pro campaign. All the while, he has had to share touches with Raheem Mostert, who is on the leaderboard for many rushing categories. Even if he plays, Achane finds himself in the low-end RB2 range at the moment.
