1 min agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense has been oddly a viable streaming option through the first two games. They've only allowed 17 points in each of the first two contests of the season. The Bucs also have eight sacks and three interceptions as well. It's worth noting that the Bucs have played the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears who are both prone to mistakes and turnovers. The Bucs defense will have a much more difficult time trying to contain the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3. That being said, the Bucs are unlikely to have the same success they've experienced through the first two weeks during this Monday night matchup.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Pro Football Reference

9 mins agoTampa Bay Buccaneers kicker Chase McLaughlin has been a fairly reliable option through the first two weeks of the season. He had a field goal blocked during the second quarter of the Week 2 win over the Chicago Bears. Outside of that, McLaughlin has been perfect, which is great to see. However, McLaughlin hasn't seen many field goal chances this season, which is hurting his fantasy value. It probably isn't going to get any easier versus the tough Philadelphia Eagles defense in Week 3. Fantasy managers should be able to find a better streaming option for Week 3.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Pro Football Reference

15 mins agoTampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton was surprisingly involved quite a bit during the Week 2 matchup with the Chicago Bears. The 24-year-old hauled in six receptions for 41 yards in the victory. The second-year tight end is beginning to build more chemistry with newcomer Baker Mayfield. The hope is that Otton turns into a trusted underneath option for Mayfield this season. He'll head into a Week 3 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. A defensive unit that has struggled to contain the tight end position early in the season. That being said, Otton has some low-end streaming appeal to desperate fantasy managers looking for an option in Week 3.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Pro Football Reference

21 mins agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin has surprisingly been off to a slow start to begin the season. Through two games, Godwin has 10 receptions for 109 yards and zero touchdowns. Right now, Godwin has been mainly a short yardage passing option, while Mike Evans is getting the deep balls. Despite his slow start, Godwin has the skills and potential to be a reliable contributor. However, he'll draw a tough matchup versus the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3. Oddly, the Eagles have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to wideouts this season. The expectation is that superstar defensive back Darius Slay will be on Evans this week. That means, Godwin will have an easier matchup which should lead to more success. That being said, Godwin is probably more of a WR3, but has WR2 upside for this matchup.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Pro Football Reference

28 mins agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has put together back-to-back strong performances to open the season. The veteran wideout has hauled in 12 receptions for 237 yards and two touchdowns during the first two games of the season. The Bucs have targeted Evans heavy in the passing game and that is likely to continue going forward. Evans will now head into a matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3. A defensive unit that is normally solid, but has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts this season. That being said, Evans should remain in the WR2 conversation for the upcoming Monday night matchup.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Pro Football Reference

41 mins agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White struggled during the season opener, but looked much better in Week 2. Last week, White topped over 100 total yards and scored a touchdown in the victory over the Chicago Bears. The Bucs have made it known they want to pound the ball with White. He has 17 rushing attempts in both games to start the season. The expectation is that the Bucs are going to continue giving him the ball. However, White is likely to struggle versus the Philadelphia Eagles defense in Week 3. A defensive unit that has allowed the fifth fewest fantasy points to running backs this season. That being said, fantasy managers should consider White a possible flex option for this upcoming matchup.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Pro Football Reference
Share:
50 mins agoTampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield is coming off his first 300-yard passing game in nearly two years. So far, the Mayfield experiment has worked out for the Bucs through the first two games of the season. Heading into Week 3, Mayfield has thrown for nearly 500 yards and three touchdowns without an interception. Now, he'll head into a Week 3 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles. A defensive unit that has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. Despite that, the Eagles still have a dangerous defense, so Mayfield should be considered a QB2 for this game.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Pro Football Reference

2 hours agoThe Los Angeles Chargers defense is not a good fantasy option in a Week 3 game against the Minnesota Vikings. Outside of some pass rush highlights, the Chargers defense has struggled through the first two weeks of the season. They started the season with a DST30 week against the Dolphins then improved to a DST16 game against the offensively-limited Titans. Week 3 features a Chargers vs. Vikings matchup that projects to be quite the offensive shootout, meaning the Bolts defense is best left on the waiver wire for another week.--David A Marcillo - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller
Share:
2 hours agoLos Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker should have another solid game in a Week 3 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Dicker has been perfect so far this season, nailing all five field goal attempts and all five extra point tries. In a game likely to be a high scoring shootout, Dicker is a good bet to put up his third straight top-10 fantasy finish at his position.--David A Marcillo - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

2 hours agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks (knee) is good to go for his second straight day of practice on Thursday after missing the Week 2 win over the New York Jets with an MCL injury. Cooks was officially listed as limited on Wednesday and will likely be given the same designation on Thursday. In the 40-0 blowout win over the New York Giants in Week 1, Cooks wasn't really needed and finished with just two catches on four targets for 22 yards. With him absence in Week 2, Michael Gallup played the same number of offensive snaps as CeeDee Lamb but caught just one pass for three yards. For what it's worth, Cooks expects to return this Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals in another game that probably won't require the Cowboys to air it out much.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: ESPN Dallas - Todd Archer
Share:
3 hours agoDetroit Lions kicker Riley Patterson has connected on all eight of his placekicking opportunities (seven extra points, one field goal) through the first two weeks of the regular season. Head coach Dan Campbell likes to roll the dice on fourth down rather than kicking a field goal, so Patterson will likely have a low floor all season. That said, he's nothing more than a low-end streaming option in the Week 3 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

3 hours agoAfter being held out of practice on Wednesday, Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (hamstring) was on the field on Thursday. Pacheco will likely be listed as limited on Thursday's injury report, but the return to action gives him a chance to suit up in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears. The 24-year-old second-year back dominated the team's backfield touches in the Week 2 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, taking 12 carries for 70 yards. Through two games this year, he's had 20 rushing attempts for 93 yards (4.7 yards per tote), adding five catches for 31 yards, but he's yet to find the end zone. As long as he's active this Sunday in Kansas City, he should once again serve as the Chiefs' lead back.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: Chiefs Digest - Matt Derrick
Share:
3 hours agoCarolina Panthers running back Miles Sanders (pectoral) was on the practice field again on Thursday after he was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday. Barring a setback, Sanders should be good to go for a Week 3 meeting with the Seattle Seahawks on the road. The Panthers may now be without rookie quarterback Bryce Young (ankle) in that game, which means veteran Andy Dalton would make the start under center. It could cause the Panthers to lean even more on their ground game, which would be good news for Sanders. Through his first two games with Carolina, the 26-year-old has underwhelmed with 32 carries for 115 yards (3.6 yards per carry) and no touchdowns. He's added seven receptions for 30 scoreless yards.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: The Athletic - Joe Person
Share:
3 hours agoAfter returning to a limited practice on Wednesday, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (hamstring) was unable to practice with the team on Thursday. Watson has missed the first two games of the season and might have tried to do too much at practice on Wednesday before he was ready, so now he's in danger of missing his third straight game to open the 2023 campaign. There's a good chance he'll be listed as questionable yet again on the final Week 3 injury report. The 24-year-old is expected to be quarterback Jordan Love's top target when healthy, but he's had trouble recovering from a lingering hamstring injury he suffered late in training camp. If he misses another game, Romeo Doubs and rookie Jayden Reed will have higher fantasy ceilings again against the New Orleans Saints.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel - Tom Silverstein
Share:
3 hours agoIndianapolis Colts rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson (concussion) will miss his second straight day of practice on Thursday as he remains in the league's concussion protocol. Richardson was on his way to a big day in his second career NFL game in the Week 2 win over the Houston Texans -- he had two rushing touchdowns -- but a concussion ended his day early and now he's in danger of missing a Week 3 tilt against the Baltimore Ravens on the road. Fantasy managers that have been rolling with the talented 21-year-old signal-caller as a QB2 with upside through the first two weeks of 2023 need to have a backup plan in place. If Richardson can't gain clearance by Sunday, veteran backup Gardner Minshew will make his first start for the Colts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: NFL Network - Cameron Wolfe
