3 hours agoMiami Heat guard Victor Oladipo (knee) seems to be nearing a return as his injury status has been upgraded from the last handful of games. He's listed as questionable right now while still dealing with the knee tendinosis that he's been battling for the last month or so. While he doesn't seem likely to play, it's promising to see his status a step above being ruled out. Max Strus, Gabe Vincent, and Duncan Robinson will get time in his place as he still works his way back to the court.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBallerSource: NBA Injury Report

4 hours agoOrlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (ankle) has been officially listed as out for the team's game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. Right now, his issue is listed as ankle soreness. The 21-year-old has already missed six consecutive games with this ankle injury and will at least miss a seventh. There haven't been many reports on a timetable for his return either. Since he's out, Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony will likely take on the bulk of the minutes at point guard.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBallerSource: NBA Injury Report

4 hours agoDenver Nuggets guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (wrist) is officially questionable for the team's contest on Tuesday night with a wrist sprain. So far this season, he's been a good fill-in while others are hurt and for those that are in deeper leagues. For a starter, he hasn't produced as much as expected though. If he ends up staying on the sidelines, Ish Smith and Bones Hyland will likely see the extra playing time. Both of them would also serve as solid streaming options in deeper leagues.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBallerSource: NBA Injury Report

4 hours agoDenver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (heel) will miss his seventh consecutive game and eighth this season while he continues to deal with heel issues. Reports say that he suffered a heel strain and it seems like it's giving him more issues than was previously expected. While he's been out, Bruce Brown Jr. has entered the starting lineup and Vlatko Cancar has seen increased playing time off of the bench. Both of them would be good streaming options in all formats.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBallerSource: NBA Injury Report

4 hours agoMiami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (ankle) has been tagged as questionable with ankle discomfort. Miami has a laundry list of injuries right now with 11 players appearing on the injury report ahead of their Tuesday contest against the Detroit Pistons. Lowry has appeared on the report a few times but has yet to miss a game so far this season. If he can't suit up, since Jimmy Butler is also out, Tyler Herro will likely see a ton of usage in the starting five. Then, some streaming options would include Gabe Vincent, Max Strus, and Duncan Robinson.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBallerSource: NBA Injury Report

4 hours agoMiami Heat forward Jimmy Butler (knee) has been listed as out for the team's game against the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night. It seems to be a rest night for the veteran as he manages his knee from the past injury he dealt with previously. The knee injury forced him to miss seven consecutive games just a little bit ago. Miami will likely play it safe with him as the season progresses to keep him fresher come playoff time. While he's out, a combo of Max Strus, Gabe Vincent and Haywood Highsmith should see an increase in playing time.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBallerSource: NBA Injury Report

12 hours agoIndiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard put in a spectacular performance against Golden State on Monday, leading his team to a 112-104 victory with 31 points and 13 assists. He almost even posted a triple-double, finishing on eight rebounds, and the 22-year-old rookie collected one steal on the defensive end while finishing with 13-for-21 shooting from the field, which included a 5-for-7 effort from downtown. Tyrese Haliburton (groin) sat out a second consecutive game and that allowed Nembhard to run the show, but he was already starting to break out even with Haliburton in the lineup, so the former Gonzaga man could become an intriguing addition for fantasy teams.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

12 hours agoDallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic logged only 29 minutes in Monday's blowout victory over Phoenix, but that didn't keep him from filling the stat sheet. He led all scorers with 33 points on 12-for-20 shooting and recorded six rebounds, eight assists, one steal and two blocks. The league's top scorer went 4-for-9 with the three-ball and finished 5-for-7 at the charity stripe. Doncic has looked incredible all season and seems destined for MVP honors. He is averaging 33.4 points per game with 8.5 rebounds and 8.5 assists. His 34 percent three-point shooting could still use some work, but Doncic is making over half of his shots overall from the field, so he has still been efficient.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

12 hours agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Tyus Jones notched a career-high 28 points and had 10 assists in Monday's 101-93 victory over the Heat. He made his fourth start of the campaign, with Ja Morant (ankle) sitting out, and Jones relished the occasion right off the bat, recording nine points and three assists in the first quarter alone. He finished the night with 10-for-16 shooting, which included a 3-for-6 record from three-point land, and Jones also added two steals to his line with one turnover in 36 minutes. The 26-year-old is now averaging 20.3 points and 7.8 assists as a starter this season. These numbers make picking up Jones a must for fantasy managers each time Morant sits.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

12 hours agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid made scoring look easy once more Monday night, posting 39 points on 12-for-21 shooting in a double-overtime loss to Houston. He picked up a bunch of his points at the foul line with 14-for-17 shooting and nailed one of his two attempts from deep. Embiid also had seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks with five turnovers before fouling out in the first overtime. The big guy has now played 10 times since the start of last month and there have been just two games in which he didn't reach the 30-point mark. The Process is crushing teams left, right and center this season, and next up, he faces a fascinating battle with the red-hot Anthony Davis.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

12 hours agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard James Harden didn't have a happy return to the lineup on Monday, shooting just 4-for-19 from the field and settling for 21 points in a 132-123 loss to the Rockets. His only makes came from downtown with 11 attempts, and the Beard notched nearly half of his points at the foul line with a 9-for-10 effort. His line also included four rebounds, seven assists, two steals and seven turnovers in 38 minutes. This was actually a dream spot for Harden to stuff the stat sheet, as the game needed double overtime to decide the winner, but he simply couldn't shake off the rust after sitting out a month with a tendon strain in his right foot. He should start to get better with each outing now, and fantasy managers have plenty to look forward to, as Harden looked great on the court prior to his injury.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

12 hours agoBoston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum posted a fourth consecutive double-double Monday versus Toronto with 31 points and 12 rebounds. He led his squad to a 116-110 victory with 11-for-24 shooting from the field, which included a nice 5-for-10 effort from downtown. Through 39 minutes of action, Tatum was also able to grab three assists, one steal and one block, while recording four turnovers. It's his 11th double-double overall this season, as Tatum has improved his work on the glass and is averaging a career-high 8.3 rebounds for the campaign. There's nothing he can't do on a basketball court, and with him sitting on a 30.8 points average, Tatum has a chance to compete for the scoring champ title this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

12 hours agoMilwaukee Bucks point guard Jrue Holiday was very close to a triple-double on Monday, finishing a 109-102 victory over the Magic with 17 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists. He had a pair of steals as well while shooting 5-for-12 from the floor with a 1-for-6 record from deep. These were very good 35 minutes from him, although Holiday struggled to take care of the ball at times, posting six turnovers. Holiday is having another fine season with averages of 18.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 7.5 assists. These are all his career-best numbers in Milwaukee, so fantasy managers should forgive him for his slight drop in shooting efficiency.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

12 hours agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard lifted his team to a 119-117 victory on Monday against Charlotte, hitting a game-winning jump shot with 1.4 seconds left to play. It completed his 16-point night. Kawhi was back from a six-game absence and logged 28 minutes on the court. He shot 7-for-15 overall from the field and had six rebounds with two assists and one turnover. This was far from his best performance, but at least Leonard was back on the court and that's the most important thing. The five-time All-Star has played in only six games this season, averaging 11.0 points with 4.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists. The 28 minutes were a season high for him, which is a big step in the right direction, and hopefully, he can now get a good run of games together.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

1 day agoToronto Raptors forward Juancho Hernangomez (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Boston Celtics. The 27-year-old will sit out after spraining his ankle during Saturday's contest. The hope is that this will only be a one-game absence for Hernangomez. In the meantime, Thaddeus Young should see additional playing time. However, he's not a great streaming option with a majority of this roster healthy.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Josh Lewenberg
