Caleb Martin Available For Saturday's Game
5 hours agoMiami Heat forward Caleb Martin (knee) is available for Saturday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. Martin appears to be fine for this game despite dealing with left knee soreness. He should resume his normal role as the backup forward to Kevin Love. Martin has been playing well lately. providing 11th-round value over the last two weeks. That being said, Martin is well worth a look as a streaming option.Source: Anthony Chiang
Trae Young Ejected On Saturday
5 hours agoAtlanta Hawks guard Trae Young has been ejected from Saturday's game against the Indiana Pacers. Young was not happy with an offensive foul on him. He responded by throwing the ball at an official. That resulted in Young getting tossed out of Saturday's contest. Dejounte Murray will move into the starting five for at least the rest of this game. However, it wouldn't be shocking if Young was suspended because of his actions. That being said, AJ Griffin, Saddiq Bey, and Murray would all be asked to take on bigger roles, assuming Young misses more than Saturday's game.Source: Kevin Chouinard
Chris Duarte Won't Return On Saturday
5 hours agoIndiana Pacers forward Chris Duarte (ankle) has been ruled out for the rest of Saturday's game against the Atlanta Hawks. He only managed to play five minutes before exiting the game due to left ankle soreness. This could very well be an issue that sidelines Duarte longer than just this game. That being said, Jordan Nwora could be an interesting player to look at in fantasy formats. Also, T.J. McConnell and Andrew Nembhard could see more minutes, assuming Duarte misses more time.Source: Indiana Pacers
Kyle Lowry Cleared For Saturday
5 hours agoMiami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (knee) is available for Saturday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. The veteran guard has been cleared despite being considered questionable on Friday. Lowry should resume his normal role as the backup guard to Gabe Vincent. The Heat have been using Lowry off the bench ever since he returned from injury. The 37-year-old doesn't normally play a ton of minutes off the bench, which limits his fantasy value. Honestly, Vincent might be the better streaming option between the two right now.Source: Anthony Chiang
Damian Lillard Likely To Be Shut Down
6 hours agoPortland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard (calf) was held out of Friday's game against the Chicago Bulls. Now, the organization is leaning towards shutting down Lillard for the rest of the season. The Blazers are currently three games out of the play-in tournament with nine games remaining on the schedule. It sounds like the team would rather miss the playoffs than risk Lillard suffering a long term injury. The void of Lillard would be basically impossible for the Blazers to fill. Ryan Arcidiacono and Shaedon Sharpe would likely see a significant boost in value, assuming Lillard gets shut down. Fantasy managers will have to check back for another update on Lillard.Source: Shams Charania
Khris Middleton Available On Saturday
6 hours agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton (knee) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Saturday's game against the Denver Nuggets. Middleton was held out of Friday's game for rest purposes. Now, the 31-year-old is expected to resume his normal role in the rotation on Saturday. His return will mean that Pat Connaughton will return to his normal role, which means he won't have as much streaming appeal.Source: NBA Injury Report
De'Aaron Fox Considered Questionable For Saturday
6 hours agoSacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Utah Jazz. The star guard was forced to exit early during Friday's game due to right hamstring soreness. That being said, it's uncertain if the team wants to rush Fox back to the court or give him another night off to rest. His absence would mean that Davion Mitchell would move into the starting five. He'd be worth a look as a streaming option if Fox is out. Also, Matthew Dellavedova would see more minutes, but isn't worth looking at as a streaming choice.Source: Jason Anderson
Myles Turner Sidelined Versus Atlanta
7 hours agoIndiana Pacers center Myles Turner (back) has been ruled out ahead of Saturday's showdown with Atlanta. He had been questionable with back soreness, so fantasy managers had a feeling this could happen. As a result, Isaiah Jackson, who has averaged 11.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks in seven starts this season, becomes a must-start option in all fantasy setups. However, don't forget about Jalen Smith, who should also benefit without Turner on the floor.Source: Dustin Dopirak
De'Andre Hunter Sitting Out Against Indiana
7 hours agoAtlanta Hawks forward De'Andre Hunter (knee) won't play against Indiana. He has a left knee contusion, and it's apparently severe enough to keep him off the floor on Saturday night. Nevertheless, Saddiq Bey is the favorite to take Hunter's spot in the rotation, although AJ Griffin should see enough work to jeopardize his fantasy potential. However, with Trae Young (calf) cleared to suit up, both Bey and Griffin are shaky fantasy options.Source: NBA Injury Report
Trae Young Will Play Against The Pacers
8 hours agoAtlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (calf) will play on Saturday night against the Pacers. There was some doubt he wouldn't be healthy enough to suit up. However, he's good to go. Young has averaged 24.0 points, 10.5 assists, and shot 56.3% from deep in two meetings with Indiana this season, so that should tell fantasy managers all they need to know.Source: Atlanta Hawks
James Harden May Miss Another One On Saturday
8 hours agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard James Harden (Achilles) is questionable for Saturday's road meeting in Phoenix. He's been dealing with left Achilles soreness, recently holding him out of Philly's previous two contests. But considering Harden will be instrumental in a potential deep postseason push, keeping him healthy is the No. 1 priority. Nevertheless, if the former MVP can't suit up, De'Anthony Melton should remain in the starting lineup. The 24-year-old has averaged 11.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.8 steals in 54 starts this season. However, those numbers could increase if Joel Embiid (calf), who is also questionable, doesn't play, either.Source: NBA Injury Report
Joel Embiid Uncertain To Play Versus Phoenix
8 hours agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (calf) is questionable for Saturday's meeting in Phoenix. The MVP candidate carried the same injury designation before Friday's loss to Golden State, although he was declared available late in the evening. However, considering the team has championship aspirations, keeping him healthy is the top priority. With James Harden (Achilles) questionable as well, Tyrese Maxey, Tobias Harris, and De'Anthony Melton may be the primary scoring options for Philly on Saturday night. Yet, their stock will drop if either Harden or Embiid is in the lineup.Source: NBA Injury Report
Collin Sexton Remains Out Versus Sacramento
8 hours agoUtah Jazz guard Collin Sexton (hamstring) remains out ahead of Saturday's clash with Sacramento. The 24-year-old has missed over a month because of a hamstring strain. While he is apparently trending in the right direction regarding his rehab efforts, he's still not ready to return. Of course, with Utah on the verge of not making the playoffs, there's a chance Sexton won't be back this season. However, only time will tell. In the meantime, Talen Horton-Tucker should remain a top ball-handler, which is good news for fantasy managers.Source: NBA Injury Report
Lauri Markkanen To Miss Another Game On Saturday
8 hours agoUtah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (hand) won't play on Saturday against Sacramento. Markkanen has a hand contusion, an injury that also held him out of Friday's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. Considering Utah is a long shot at making the postseason, the team will likely remain cautious with the big man for the remainder of the year. With Jordan Clarkson (hand), Rudy Gay (back), and Collin Sexton (hamstring) sidelined as well, Talen Horton-Tucker, Walker Kessler, Simone Fontecchio, and Ochai Agbaji should continue to benefit the most on the fantasy end.Source: NBA Injury Report
Anthony Davis Collects A Big Double-Double Versus OKC
13 hours agoLos Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis led all scorers with 37 points and crashed the glass for 15 rebounds in Friday's 116-111 win over the Thunder. He missed only six of his 21 shot attempts and finished 7-for-11 at the charity stripe while wrapping things up with one assist and one steal. Davis has secured five double-doubles in his past six appearances, averaging 26.2 points and 13.0 rebounds over that span. He continues to play a pivotal role as the Lakers try to lock down a playoff position.Source: ESPN
