Nolan Arenado Dealing with Finger Sprain
Nolan Arenado (finger) will be held out of Tuesday's starting lineup against the division-rival Pittsburgh Pirates. According to Katie Woo, Arenado is dealing with a sprained right finger that he suffered over the weekend. For now, Arenado is considered day-to-day and will hopefully avoid a trip to the injured list. There's a good chance that Arenado sits out Wednesday as well with a scheduled off day on Thursday. That means that Arenado would get a few days off to recover before beginning an important weekend series against the Chicago Cubs. Nolan Gorman will bat fifth and cover third base versus right-hander Paul Skenes on Tuesday.
