Charlie Condon Continues to Slug his Way to MLB Promotion
Colorado Rockies outfield prospect Charlie Condon continues to be one of the top power hitters at the Triple-A level and is making a strong case to join the MLB roster down the stretch. Over his last six games at Triple-A, the former Georgia standout has gone deep twice and held a .857 OPS. On the season, the former third overall pick has carried a .282/.397/.542 line with a dominant .939 OPS. He has gone deep 22 times while adding 18 doubles, six triples, and six stolen bases. During the 2025 campaign, Condon split his time between High-A and Double-A, where he posted a lower .820 OPS with just 14 home runs (over 99 games). Seeing him show much higher power upside against tougher pitching is an excellent sign of his long-term outlook. His power upside and path to MLB at-bats make him a top stash target among hitters.

Jonathon Long Could Debut with New MLB Club Down the Stretch
According to Christina De Nicola of MLB.com, recently acquired first base prospect Jonathon Long could debut with the Miami Marlins later in the second half. De Nicola reports that Long, who was shipped to Miami ahead of the trade deadline, "should receive a callup by season's end if he continues to produce." Long joined the Marlins in the trade that sent left-handed pitcher Braxton Garrett to the North Side of Chicago. With Iowa this season, Long was very productive, posting a .283/.364/.455 line with a .819 OPS, 30 doubles, 12 home runs, and two stolen bases. Since joining Triple-A Jacksonville, Long has held a stellar .386 AVG through five games. With Miami struggling to hit southpaws, the right-handed power bat would provide a much-needed spark to their lineup.

Joshua Baez Holds Must-Stash Upside Amid Open Role on MLB Roster
St. Louis Cardinals outfield prospect Joshua Baez enters Week 20 as a top stash target, with a clear path to the major leagues. Ahead of the trade deadline, the St. Louis Cardinals parted ways with veteran corner outfielder Lars Nootbaar. As a result, Baez faces even less competition for a spot on the MLB roster down the stretch. Additionally, the young outfielder has seen his production take another step forward, suggesting he could be on the verge of a call-up. Over his last 15 games at the top club in the system (since July 21), Baez has posted a dominant .293/.354/.603 slash line with six doubles, four home runs and three stolen bases. On the season, he has gone deep 33 times and swiped 18 bags. His five-category upside makes him a must-stash ahead of Week 20.

Maikel Garcia Could Resume Rehab Assignment on Wednesday
Kansas City Royals third baseman Maikel Garcia (hand) could resume his rehab assignment with Triple-A Omaha as early as Wednesday, according to Pete Grathoff. Garcia was scheduled to do fielding drills ahead of Sunday's game against the Chicago Cubs. If everything continues to go well, Garcia could be back in action as early as Wednesday. He was previously pulled off his rehab assignment due to renewed soreness in his left hand. Nick Loftin has been serving as the primary third baseman while Garcia has been sidelined. He'll return to a reserve role once Garcia is back, which is hopefully in the coming weeks.

Cooper Pratt Goes to Injured List with Hamstring Injury
Milwaukee Brewers infielder Cooper Pratt (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day Injured List on Sunday, according to Hunter Baumgardt. Pratt experienced hamstring discomfort during Saturday's contest. The team was hopeful this was a day-to-day issue, but instead, Pratt landed on the shelf due to a right hamstring strain. The Brewers could be limited at shortstop with Joey Ortiz (neck) considered day-to-day right now. David Hamilton is drawing the start at shortstop on Sunday. He figures to see increased time over there, along with Ortiz once he's healthy. Pratt is set to undergo an MRI on Sunday, so fantasy managers should get a better idea about his timetable after that.

Griffin Jax Lands on 15-Day Injured List
Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Griffin Jax (elbow) was placed on the 15-day Injured List on Sunday, according to Ryan Bass. Jax was scratched from his scheduled start against the Seattle Mariners on Saturday. A day later, Jax heads to the shelf due to right elbow discomfort. He'll be eligible to return on August 21, but his exact timetable to return is unclear at the moment. In a corresponding move, right-hander Michael Grove was recalled from Triple-A Durham. It's uncertain at the moment who is going to replace Jax in the starting rotation. Fantasy managers should check back for a better timetable on Jax in the coming days.

Joe Musgrove Making Another Rehab Start on Sunday
San Diego Padres starting pitcher Joe Musgrove (elbow) is scheduled to make a minor league rehab start with Triple-A El Paso on Sunday, according to Sammy Levitt. Musgrove continues to work his way back from Tommy John surgery. His last rehab start was with Single-A Lake Elsinore on Tuesday. He might need one or two more starts before he's finally ready to make an impact in the Padres rotation. Fantasy managers should see Musgrove making his season debut in late August. Fantasy managers in need of pitching help down the stretch of the season should consider stashing Musgrove.

Austin Hays Signs Deal with Padres
The San Diego Padres have signed outfielder Austin Hays to a one-year deal on Sunday, according to Ken Rosenthal. Hays was designated for assignment by the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday. He went unclaimed and ended up hitting free agency, where the Padres wasted little time scooping him up. Hays only played 12 games for the White Sox this season, but he should be an upgrade in the outfield for the Padres. The 31-year-old crushes left-handed pitching and could push for an everyday role if he continues to hit consistently. He could be someone worth watching in deep leagues, assuming he gets regular playing time in San Diego.

Kyle Stowers Exits with Hamstring Injury
Miami Marlins first baseman/outfielder Kyle Stowers (hamstring) was forced to make an early exit from Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. According to Craig Mish, Stowers was pulled in the fifth inning due to left hamstring discomfort. He appeared to tweak his hamstring while running out a single in the fifth inning. Before leaving, Stowers went 2-for-4 with a single, triple, and two RBI. The assumption is that Stowers will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury. Leo Jimenez replaced him at first base and could see increased playing time if Stowers misses any action. Fantasy managers should check back for another update on his status.

Seaver King Back Healthy Ahead of Big League Audition
Washington Nationals prospect Seaver King has been back healthy and playing at Triple-A Rochester since July 30, trying to make a case for a late-season promotion to Washington. King missed almost all of July with a left oblique strain and has a homer and four RBI since his return to Rochester. King has a 70-grade run tool and a 50-grade hit tool as he could mix hitting and speed on the base paths. He has nine stolen bases this year in his injury-plagued season. He is the No. 4 prospect for the Nationals and might be more likely to make his MLB debut in 2027 after struggling with injuries this year. He is looking like a dynasty league stash but someone who is better left on the waiver wire in all redraft leagues. An injury free opportunity next season might be well worth it for the talented 23-year-old out of Wake Forest.

Cooper Ingle Producing Again At Triple-A Level
Cleveland Guardians prospect Cooper Ingle is having a productive August so far at Triple-A Columbus after receiving a big-league opportunity earlier this season. In seven August games, Ingle has two homers and nine RBI with eight runs scored. The catcher/outfielder is heating up again at Triple-A and could force his way back to the majors before the end of this season. Ingle had 21 at bats in Cleveland and had two RBI while hitting just .095 after recording just two big-league hits. However, Cleveland's No. 3 prospect with a 55-grade hit tool has 18 homers and 61 RBI at Triple-A this season with a .313 batting average, making a case for another ticket back to Cleveland. The Guardians fourth-round draft pick in 2023, Ingle has the versatility to play catcher or in the outfield and has been hitting enough to warrant another look on fantasy rosters.

Ralphy Velazquez August Power Surge at Triple-A Could Lead to MLB Call-Up
Cleveland Guardians prospect Ralphy Velazquez is hitting with power to begin August with four homers and seven RBI in six games this month. Velazquez, at age 21, has split time between Double-A Akron and Triple-A Columbus this season with 17 homers combined to go with 61 RBI and 53 runs scored while hitting .277 between both levels. Velazquez is the Guardians top ranked prospect and has been given a 60-grade ranking for power with a 50-grade hit tool. The left-handed hitter has the ability to play first base or outfield and is looking at a potential late-season promotion to Cleveland. Cleveland recently acquired Nathaniel Lowe at first base, but the team could use the power profile of Velazquez this season and his recent power surge is proof that he is worth hanging onto in fantasy.

Zac Veen Knocking on MLB Door Following Three-Home Run Effort
Colorado Rockies prospect Zac Veen is coming off one of the most productive games of the minor league season at Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday with three homers and seven RBI in a five-hit effort. The 24-year-old outfielder is hitting .325 at Albuquerque this year with 24 homers and 87 RBI to go with 80 runs scored and 18 stolen bases. The 2020 first-round pick is producing on all levels this season and is looking like a future five-category fantasy contributor. The left-handed hitter is the No. 7 prospect in the Rockies' system and is looking like a must add as a stash candidate for the rest of this season. He has a 55-grade run tool with a 50-grade hit tool. He could be called up at any time and is ready to reward fantasy managers who take a shot on him the rest of the way.

Elmer Rodriguez Pitching Well at Triple-A Before Potential MLB Reunion
New York Yankees pitching prospect Elmer Rodriguez has pitched efficiently all year at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and is looking for a second shot to pitch for the Yankees at the big league level this season. At Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Rodriguez is 7-3 with a 2.85 ERA in 17 starts. He has 87 strikeouts in 85 1/3 innings pitched with a 1.32 WHIP. He is 0-2 in four starts with the Yankees this season, with nine earned runs in 19 innings. He has 10 strikeouts with 11 walks. The 22-year-old right-hander is the No. 3 prospect in the Yankees system with a 60-grade fastball and three 55-grade secondary pitches in his curveball, slider, and splitter. Rodriguez is worth stashing in hopes he will get another opportunity to make another MLB start or two.

Max Anderson Hitting Well In Month of August at Triple-A
Detroit Tigers infield prospect Max Anderson has started August nicely with one homer and two RBI in seven games this month while hitting .435 at Triple-A Toledo. The infielder has had a solid season between two levels of the minors this year, hitting .314 with 14 homers and 45 RBI in 299 at-bats with 51 runs scored. He was out at the beginning of the year due to injury and made a few rehab starts with Lakeland. Anderson is the No. 9 prospect in the Tigers system after playing his college ball at Nebraska. He boasts a 50-grade hit tool with 50-grade power. The Tigers are getting healthier at the major league level, but Anderson could still factor into their decision-making this season with the ability to play second or third base. Anderson is a name to watch on the waiver wire and stash away for the end of this season should he get called up for his debut.
