The New Orleans Saints D/ST recorded one interception, one fumble recovery, two sacks, and a blocked field goal against the Panthers in Week 10. They now get a matchup against a Falcons team that will be starting veteran Kirk Cousins after Michael Penix Jr. landed on IR with a season-ending knee injury. Atlanta will also be without star wideout Drake London, while starting guards Matthew Bergeron and Chris Lindstrom are both listed as questionable for the contest. The Saints are nearly fully healthy on defense, and with the major injuries on the Falcons' offense, the New Orleans Saints D/ST is worth taking a flyer on this week.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller

The Cleveland Browns have elevated quarterback Bailey Zappe from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of their Week 12 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. With quarterback Dillon Gabriel (concussion) sidelined by a concussion, Zappe will serve as Cleveland's QB2 in Week 12 behind rookie Shedeur Sanders. Across 15 career NFL games (nine starts), Zappe has completed 62.1% of his pass attempts for 2,223 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. He last appeared in an NFL game with Cleveland in 2024. Gabriel is not expected to face an extended absence, so Zappe's time on the active roster could be limited to one week.--Will Brady

Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown had a slow start to the 2025 campaign. He has only three touchdowns on the year, which still certainly doesn't sit well with fantasy managers. However, there are those who are optimistic, considering Brown's uptick from a statistical standpoint over the last month. The 25-year-old had his first 100-yard rushing game in almost a year when the Bengals played the Steelers in Week 7. He missed that mark by one yard during Sunday's rematch. Browns' improvement as a runner is a step in the right direction, and his added contributions as a pass-catcher of late (14 catches in the last two games) have helped his overall production. All things considered, Brown is making the moves needed to re-establish his reputation for fantasy managers. Granted, he still has some work to do, but he is still worthy of a start in nearly all formats imaginable in Week 12 versus the New England Patriots. The suspension of Ja'Marr Chase could give him more pass-catching opportunities out of the backfield, increasing his ceiling in PPR setups.--Dennis Clausen

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney has missed two games this season due to injury and has just 16 catches for 224 scoreless yards in the eight contests he's played in, but heads into Week 12 in a prime position to jump back into fantasy relevance. The 28-year-old goes into the weekend without an injury designation, and he'll also be Atlanta's top wide receiver with Drake London (knee) set to miss the contest due to injury. Despite depressed catch and yardage totals the last two weeks, the veteran wideout managed to garner 15 targets in those two games, and last season with Kirk Cousins under center, he had a phenomenal season. The Tulane product averaged over four catches, seven targets, and 72 yards per game in 2024 between Week 2 and Week 14 with Cousins at the helm. This year's version of the offense has folded Kyle Pitts Sr. and Bijan Robinson into the passing attack much more, though, and Mooney is more of a downfield threat, so don't expect him to slide right into London's No. 1 receiver role completely. Nevertheless, he sets up as a WR3 this week against a Saints defense that ranks near the middle in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers.--Jarod Rupp

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith had an underwhelming game in Week 11 against the Dallas Cowboys, completing 27 of 42 pass attempts for 238 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Across 10 games, the 35-year-old has completed 66.3% of his pass attempts for 2,082 yards, 12 touchdowns, and a league-high 13 interceptions. Smith has also been sacked on 9.1% of his drop-backs as he plays with a Raiders offensive line that has been hit hard by both injuries and underperformance. The job won't get any easier for Smith in Week 12, as he'll take on star edge rusher Myles Garrett and the Cleveland Browns. Through 11 weeks, the Browns have allowed the fewest passing yards (1,874) and recorded the fifth most sacks (32) in the NFL. Even in two-quarterback formats, Smith profiles as a player for fantasy managers to avoid in Week 12.--Will Brady

New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson had another impressive performance against the Panthers in Week 10, recording four receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown in the victory. Over his last four contests, he has 17 receptions for 255 yards and two touchdowns. The Saints are operating without receiver Rashid Shaheed, who was traded at the deadline, and Brandin Cooks, whom the team agreed to waive. This leaves a clear path forward for Johnson, who is eighth in targets among tight ends, to establish an even larger role in the offense. He and former college teammate Tyler Shough have a strong connection, and he will remain a low-end TE1 option against a Falcons defense that has allowed only one touchdown to tight ends on the season.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller

Through 10 games this season, Tennessee Titans tight end Chig Okonkwo (foot) has recorded 32 catches for 337 yards on 42 targets. Okonkwo was limited in practice by a foot injury this week, but he is off the injury report and will be active for Tennessee's Week 12 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. The Titans will be without wide receivers Elic Ayomanor (hamstring) and Calvin Ridley (leg) against Seattle, which could open up more target opportunities for Okonkwo. However, Okonkwo has failed to play more than 68% of his team's offensive snaps in any game since Week 4 as he splits reps with rookie tight end Gunnar Helm, limiting the upside for both players. Additionally, the Seahawks have one of the best pass defenses in the NFL. Through 11 weeks, Seattle is allowing the third-fewest yards per pass attempt (6.2) in the league. Even with the potential for an increased target share, Okonkwo remains tough for fantasy managers to trust as a starting tight end option in Week 12.--Will Brady

Through 10 games this season, Tennessee Titans wide receiver Van Jefferson has recorded 17 catches for 189 yards and a touchdown on 33 targets. While those numbers don't jump off the page, Jefferson has seen an expanded role in his team's offense in recent weeks, earning 19 targets over his last three games played. The 29-year-old also played a season-high 92% of Tennessee's offensive snaps in Week 11 against the Houston Texans. With Titans wideouts Calvin Ridley (leg) and Elic Ayomanor (hamstring) both out, Jefferson could continue to see targets and playing time in Week 12 against the Seattle Seahawks. However, Seattle is a tough matchup for opposing passing games. Through 11 weeks, Seattle is allowing the third-fewest yards per pass attempt (6.2) in the NFL. Expected playing time alone may not be enough to carry Jefferson's fantasy production against the Seahawks. He profiles as a desperation flex option for deep-league fantasy managers in Week 12.--Will Brady

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Devaughn Vele has yet to carve out a significant role in the Big Easy, recording just six receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown on the season. However, with the team set to waive veteran Brandin Cooks, there will be additional opportunity for Vele to contribute in the offense. He has received eight targets in his last two contests and was on the field for a season-high 87% of snaps in the Week 10 win against the Panthers. With the Saints lacking a clear-cut WR2 behind Olave, Vele will compete with Mason Tipton for targets, though Tipton played just 34% of snaps in their last game. Given the potential increase in role, he's worth monitoring in deep leagues.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has had a quality season. While the volume isn't always there, he's at least made up for it by finding the end zone seven times. Interestingly enough, he has scored at least once in all of the Bengals' home contests this season, with six of his seven touchdowns occurring in Cincinnati. With Paycor Stadium the site of Sunday's meeting with the New England Patriots, it's widely expected that the wideout will be given plenty of chances to keep the streak going. That's even more true, considering Ja'Marr Chase will sit this one out due to suspension. Despite a challenging matchup on the horizon, most fantasy managers were already planning on starting Higgins in Week 12. However, his ceiling is much higher with Chase sidelined. It's logical to assume Higgins will be a focal point of the Pats defense. Still, he's talented enough to get open even if he sees expanded coverage, giving him the potential to finish the week as a top fantasy receiving option.--Dennis Clausen

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Chimere Dike (chest) is off the injury report and good to go for his team's Week 12 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Dike has a major opportunity to expand his role in the Titans' passing game, as Tennessee wideouts Elic Ayomanor (hamstring) is out for Week 12, and Calvin Ridley (leg) was lost for the season in Week 11. Still, Dike faces a tough test in the Seahawks' defense. Through 11 weeks, Seattle is allowing the third-fewest yards per pass attempt (6.2) in the NFL. Across 10 games this season, Dike has provided modest production with 23 catches for 208 yards and one touchdown on 36 targets. Still, with Ridley and Ayomanor sidelined, Dike could emerge as the number one option for Titans quarterback Cameron Ward. Dike profiles as a low-end WR4/flex option for fantasy managers in Week 12.--Will Brady

The Baltimore Ravens D/ST has continued their resurgence since the bye with another big week against the Cleveland Browns in Week 11. After collecting just three turnovers in the first six weeks of the season, they have forced eight over the last four weeks. Part of that is the fact that they've faced a much easier schedule compared to the beginning of their year. In Week 12, another dysfunctional offense is on the docket with the New York Jets. The Jets give up an average of 7.7 fantasy points per game to opposing defenses, but they haven't thrown many interceptions, with just four so far this season. With that being said, the Ravens D/ST is projected for a top five finish, making them a great starting option this week.--Alex Fischbein

Baltimore Ravens kicker Tyler Loop has now finished two weeks in a row as a K1, and all signs point to him continuing that streak. The rookie made a 24, 25, and 44-yard field goal in Week 11 to go along with two extra points. Loop and the Ravens take on the New York Jets in Week 12, and they are ranked last in terms of fantasy points allowed to kickers. They give up an average of 10.6 fantasy points per contest to the position, and the Ravens offense should be able to get Loop into range quite consistently. Fantasy managers can continue to roll with Loop as a starter, especially while the offense remains on the healthier side.--Alex Fischbein

Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears had a tough time as a rusher in Week 11 against the Houston Texans, recording just three rushing yards on four carries. However, Spears played a role in the passing game, logging five catches for 31 yards on five targets. Across his last five games, the 24-year-old has now hauled in 18 catches for 127 yards on 19 targets. With Spears continuing to share rushing work with fellow Titans back Tony Pollard, fantasy managers should not expect much rushing production in a tough Week 12 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Through 11 weeks, Seattle ranks fifth in the NFL in yards per carry allowed (3.9) and fourth in rushing touchdowns allowed (sixth). At the same time, Seattle is allowing more targets per game (7.3) to running backs than any other NFL defense. Spears could have an opportunity to expand upon his receiving role against the Seahawks. He profiles as a low-end flex option for fantasy managers in Week 12.--Will Brady

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Tylan Wallace has seen a bit of an increase in snap count since Rashod Bateman (ankle) has been sidelined. The only issue is that the added snaps haven't turned into production since the top targets are still playing. Wallace can be a decent deep threat with his speed, but a lot of the time, the offensive line hasn't given Lamar Jackson enough time for deep routes to progress. In Week 12, the Ravens take on the New York Jets, who rank 13th overall (23rd over last four weeks) against the position. Even with that being said, Wallace is projected as the WR112 in half-PPR leagues, so he's not a recommended start in most formats.--Alex Fischbein
