Zack Greinke Pitches Six Shutout Innings Versus Blue Jays
6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Zack Greinke rebounded from one of his worst starts of the year to turn in a solid effort in Saturday's win over the Blue Jays. Greinke went six innings and allowed four hits, two walks and no runs while striking out seven. Greinke's start before this one was his second shortest of the year as he went just four innings and gave up four earned runs against the Mets on June 1. Greinke improved to 7-2 on the year with a 2.87 ERA and 0.94 WHIP after Saturday's win. His next start will be at Washington on Thursday. Greinke's a top-15 starting pitcher going forward and should be started with confidence by fantasy owners every time out.
