2 years agoVegas Golden Knights defenseman Zach Whitecloud (lower body) isn't expected to return anytime soon. The team moved him to Injured Reserve on Monday and it was now announced that Whitecloud is considered month-to-month. He injured his right leg in Sunday's game against Boston when Taylor Hall landed on him. The 26-year-old is a big presence in the defensive zone, having tallied 50 hits and 56 blocks in 30 games this season, and he's also put in some work on the offensive end with one goal and five assists. Due to a number of injuries, Whitecloud has been regularly logging 20-plus minutes a night lately, but the team will now have to look for alternative options.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
