Zach Sanford signed a one-year contract extension with the St. Louis Blues. Prior to the signing, he was a restricted free agent. The contract is a one-way deal and comes in at $2 million. Sanford is a 26-year-old winger who took some time carving out a role for himself in the NHL. He has consistently made the Blues lineup over the last three seasons. In 2020-21, he scored 10 goals and 16 points in 52 games. This season was a setback for Sanford, though, as he scored a more respectable 30 points in 56 games back in 2019-20. He likely will not be drafted into most fantasy leagues but could be a decent bounce-back candidate in the later rounds.--Naftali Clinton - RotoBaller
