Yordan Alvarez To Miss His Third Straight Game
Yordan Alvarez (wrist) will miss his third straight game on Saturday due to right wrist soreness. Aledmys Diaz is filling in as designated hitter for the second time in a row and batting seventh in the game. The injury first popped up for Alvarez on Wednesday. He was scratched from Wednesday's lineup, then the team had an off day on Thursday before starting their series against the San Diego Padres on Friday. Alvarez is being considered day-to-day at this point. We'll see if he's able to return on Sunday.
