Columbus Blue Jackets winger Yegor Chinakhov has been ruled out for approximately six weeks with a high-ankle sprain. He was hurt on his first shift against Dallas on Monday and the team announced the timeline for his return Wednesday. The 21-year-old has totaled four goals and 13 points in 30 games. With another forward out injured, Kirill Marchenko stepped up into a top-six role Tuesday against Philadelphia and impressed by scoring a goal. He crushed it in the AHL earlier in the campaign with 19 points in 16 games, and we could see him doing something similar now for Columbus if Marchenko can stick on a scoring line.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
