Wyatt Langford 2026 Fantasy Baseball Outlook: Third Year Outfielder Looking to Build on 20/20 Season
On the surface, it's hard to be too disappointed with a 22/22 season with over 70 runs and 70 RBI. But I'm sure many who drafted Langford in 2025 were expecting a bit more. With that said, there's still a lot to like in the profile and optimism for an even better 2026 season. Langford recorded an impressive 14% barrel rate, 91.4 mph AVG EV, and 48.4% hard-hit rate in 2025 to go along with a 12.9% walk rate and elite batted ball angles. He was also an 88th percentile runner and once again had a zone contact rate and chase rate that were better than the Major League average. The profile suggests that Langford could improve across the board in 2026, including possibly flirting with a 30/30 season. But the one downfall is that Texas has become a pitcher-friendly park over the last few seasons.
