Will Gordon has lost strokes putting in five straight events leading up to this week's John Deere Classic in Illinois. While the 26-year-old consistently gains strokes off the tee, and his iron game shows up in spurts, the lack of putting and around-the-green game has held him back on the PGA Tour. After losing his tour card after the 2021 season, Gordon shined on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2022, earning his card back for this year. He has made plenty of cuts, and placed in the top-20 at both the RSM Classic and the RBC Canadian Open, so an uptick in putting over the course of the next two seasons is all it would take to see Gordon take a big next step. The North Carolina native is too volatile with the flat stick to be considered this week, but keep an eye on any positive putting trends in the future that might indicate a good time to hop in on Gordon.--Tommy Bell
