The Washington Football Team released former starting safety Sean Davis in a surprise move on Saturday, according to a source. Washington gave a $2 million signing bonus to Davis this offseason. The 26-year-old was a second-round pick by the Steelers in 2016 and was productive in his three full years in Pittsburgh, recording 185 solo tackles, 11 tackles for loss, seven QB hits, five interceptions and 2.5 sacks in 47 games (40 starts). He played in just one game in 2019 because of a shoulder injury that required surgery. If Davis proves he's healthy, he should latch on with another team, at least as safety depth.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
