Vinnie Pasquantino Done For The Season
2 years agoKansas City Royals first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino (shoulder) will miss the remainder of the season after tearing the labrum in his right shoulder. He will need surgery to address the injury. It's a tough development for the Royals, Pasquantino and his fantasy managers after the 25-year-old left-handed slugger landed on the 10-day injured list late last week. Pasquantino will finish the 2023 season with a .247 batting average (57-for-231) with 17 doubles, nine home runs, 26 RBI and 24 runs scored in 260 plate appearances over 61 games in just his second major-league season. Fantasy managers in redraft leagues can obviously drop him now. Since Pasquantino was injured last week, Nick Pratto has been starting at first base and batting leadoff for the Royals.
