Carolina Hurricanes center Vincent Trocheck had an eventful night in just 9:16 of ice time on Saturday. Trocheck scored a goal and added two assists. His unassisted goal at 4:16 of the second period made the score 4-1 for Carolina. Two of Trocheck's three points came within 24 seconds of each other as Trocheck set up Ian Cole for his first goal of the season. Then, Trocheck wound up boarding Tage Thompson, His night was done after he received a five-minute major and game misconduct. It appeared Thompson moved a bit.
