5 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Vernon Davis (concussion) was limited at practice on Wednesday. Davis has a chance to return this weekend, but he must officially pass through the league's concussion protocol later this week. If the veteran suits up, he'll be a low-end, low-upside TE2 in a tough matchup with the 49ers. Jeremy Sprinkle hasn't taken advantage of Davis' absence the last two games and can be avoided for fantasy purposes. Jordan Reed (concussion) is on Injured Reserve and is unlikely to play this year.
