Golden Knights Lose Game 2
7 years agoOn Wednesday night, the Vegas Golden Knights were bested on their home ice 3-2 by the Washington Capitals. They jumped out to an early lead with James Neal scoring on the high glove side, but it was downhill from there. Lars Eller came to play, finding a goal and two assists, contributing to every goal. Braden Holtby made 37 saves on 39 shots and saved the game by making the potential save of the year, robbing Alex Tuch late in the third period. Through two games, this series has been very physical, and it doesn't look like that'll change. Evgeny Kuznetsov exited the game and didn't return after a devastating hip check by Brayden McNabb. The Stanley Cup Finals will be a tight one and will continue to be exciting to watch.
