6 months agoNew York Islanders center Valtteri Filppula was limited to just one shift and 0:32 of ice time in Monday's 3-1 road victory against the Buffalo Sabres after suffering an upper-body injury. The third-liner, who skates alongside Michael Dal Colle and Leo Komarov, should be considered day to day for now. Only fantasy players in the deepest of pools will miss Filppula, who entered the day with nine goals and 19 points, but just two goals and three points across 14 games in the month of December.--Daniel E.
