The reign of Valentina Shevchenko in the women's flyweight division has come to an end after a fourth-round, rear-naked choke defeat to Alexa Grasso on Saturday. Though she was up heading into the fourth round, Shevchenko missed on a spinning back kick and was immediately brought to the mat, which led to the submission finish. In 19:34 of action, Shevchenko was leading in the striking department by landing 87 significant strikes compared to Grasso's 59. She had also landed four takedowns compared to Grasso's zero. This snaps Shevchenko's nine-fight winning streak.--Matt Bricker
