Houston Texans quarterback Tyrod Taylor and the offense have produced an explosive play (16-plus yards on a pass or 12-plus yards on a run) just 6.3% of the time in 2021. Houston's offensive line ranks 30th in ESPN's pass-block win rate, which measures how often an offensive line holds its blocks for at least 2.5 seconds. That has made it hard for Taylor and wide receiver Brandin Cooks to hook up for deep connections. And outside of Cooks, the Texans don't really have any pass-catchers that can consistently win deep down the field. If Houston's explosive-play rate holds for the rest of the year, it would be the lowest rate by a team since 2000. Cooks will remain in the WR2 mix as his team's target hog in a great matchup against the New York Jets on Sunday, but his lack of big plays down the field limit his overall fantasy ceiling.--Keith Hernandez
