Boston Red Sox reliever Tyler Thornburg, who hasn't pitched in the majors since 2016, had a rough day with Triple-A Pawtucket on Monday as he continues his rehab from a shoulder injury. He only threw eight of his 19 pitches for strikes and was only able to retire one of the four batters he faced, giving up a home run in the process. Thornburg still has a ways to go before returning to Boston's bullpen and may likely never regain the high-leverage role that Boston hoped he would step into when they traded Travis Shaw to Milwaukee for him. Back in 2016 with the Brewers, Thornburg posted 13 saves while striking out 90 batters in 67 innings.--Brendan Bilodeau
