Tyler O'Neill Swats HR In Tuesday Loss
6 months agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Tyler O'Neill had a productive game in his team's 9-4 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday. O'Neill went 1-for-3 with a homer, a walk, two runs, and two RBI but it wasn't enough as the Sox fell to the division rivals. The veteran outfielder launched a two-run homer off Toronto starter Kevin Gausman in the sixth inning, a blast that traveled 448 feet with an exit velocity of 113.1 MPH. O'Neill has been hitting well of late, batting .333 with five homers and 11 RBI over his past 15 contests. Overall it has been a productive first season with Boston for O'Neill, who is hitting .262 with 16 homers, 42 runs, 28 RBI, and one steal across 202 at-bats.
