Tyler Lockett Lands On COVID-19 List
3 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks placed wide receiver Tyler Lockett on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Even if Lockett is vaccinated, he'll need to be asymptomatic and return two negative tests 24 hours apart in order to be cleared to play this Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. It's a really tough break for the Seahawks and fantasy managers relying on Lockett with the fantasy playoffs starting this week in most leagues. Lockett has been Seattle's most consistent wideout in the second half of the season, and he has a whopping 19 catches on 27 targets for 421 yards and two touchdowns in the last four games. Perhaps the struggling DK Metcalf can finally get going against LA if Lockett is out. Wideouts Freddie Swain and Dee Eskridge should see bigger roles if Lockett isn't cleared, while tight end Gerald Everett becomes a little more intriguing as a TE2 as well.
