Tua Tagovailoa To Start In Week 11 Against The Jets
3 years agoMiami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (finger) will start in Week 11 against the New York Jets, according to head coach Brian Flores. Tagovailoa was active the last two games but served as Jacoby Brissett's backup while dealing with a small fracture to the middle finger on his left hand. The second-year QB was forced into action last Thursday in the win over the Baltimore Ravens when Brissett injured his knee, and Tagovailoa went 8-for-13 for 158 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. Although Tagovailoa hasn't been all that great in his second season, he has been able to take advantage of good matchups, and the Jets defense has allowed the second-most passing yards per game (283.2) through 10 weeks of the season. Fantasy managers shouldn't use Tua as a QB1 streamer, but he'll have some QB2 upside in superflex leagues against New York in his return to a starting role.
