Trey Burton Could Have Active Showing Against Lions
6 years agoChicago Bears tight end Trey Burton has caught only one touchdown over his last four games after posting four scores in a five-game stretch. Burton has been used in a variety of ways and has been a integral part of the Bears red-zone offense. He will go up against a Lions defense that is allowing the 16th fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends and Burton himself caught only four passes for 40 yards two weeks ago. With the recent news that quarterback Mitch Trubisky is nursing a shoulder injury, Burton could thrive if the Bears decide to go with a more quick-hit offense in the passing game. Burton will be a low-end, top-12 play among tight ends in fantasy for Week 12.
