Trevor Siemian To Get The Boot At Quarterback?
3 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Trevor Siemian went 22-for-40 for 214 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in the team's 40-29 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11. He also ran the ball twice for 16 yards and another score. Siemian's line wasn't bad if you used him as your second QB in superflex leagues, but the 29-year-old threw a pick-six, and most of his production came with the game well in hand for the Eagles in the second half. NewOrleans.Football's Nick Underhill speculates that Siemian's performance was bad enough for the Saints to wonder if it's time to make a change under center. With a quick turnaround in Week 12 in a Thanksgiving game against the Buffalo Bills, it's unlikely that the Saints make the shift to Taysom Hill, but Siemian could be on the hot seat. He hasn't been bad from a fantasy perspective, but he'll be a tough sell as a low-end QB2 in Week 12 against a Bills defense looking to bounce back.
