Trevor Siemian Could Stick Around
3 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Trevor Siemian could sneak his way onto the roster behind Jameis Winston and Taysom Hill this summer. The 29-year-old has 13 career wins, and head coach Sean Payton has talked Siemian up a few times this offseason. Siemian isn't likely to push Winston or Hill for the starting job, but he could stick around on the final roster if the team wants to keep using Hill in a versatile role and doesn't think rookie Ian Book is ready to be a true backup. Siemian hasn't won a game since his final season with the Denver Broncos in 2017 and has started just one game since 2019. He'd probably need injuries to both Winston and Hill to even become a low-end option in two-QB leagues.
