Trevon Wesco Out 2-4 Weeks With Ankle Injury
3 years agoNew York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said that tight end Trevon Wesco (ankle) will miss two to four weeks with an ankle injury. Wesco has been operating as the No. 2 tight end behind Ryan Griffin with Tyler Kroft (chest) on Injured Reserve, but he's caught only two passes for 16 yards on four targets in 10 games played this year. With Wesco out for the foreseeable future and with Kroft not back from IR, Kenny Yeboah should see more playing time in Week 13 against the Philadelphia Eagles behind Griffin. Fantasy managers would be wise to continue avoiding the Jets tight end situation.
