Travis d'Arnaud Activated Off 60-Day Injured List

The Atlanta Braves activated catcher Travis d'Arnaud (thumb) from the 60-day injured list on Wednesday. Fellow catcher Kevan Smith was designated for assignment in a corresponding move. d'Arnaud has been out since May 1 due to a torn ligament in his thumb. Prior to the injury, he played in 23 games and slashed .220/.253/.341 with two home runs, 11 RBI and five runs. He will likely be eased into regular playing time, but should resume primary catching duties with the team soon. He's a great waiver wire target for any fantasy manager in need of help at catcher as he's coming off of a great year in which he slashed .321/.386/.533 over 44 games.
