Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin (shoulder) will be activated Thursday and get the start against the St. Louis Cardinals, according to manager Dave Roberts. The 27-year-old has battled shoulder inflammation this season, including two separate stints on the injured list, and has been on the shelf since July 31. The return of the right-hander will also push starting pitcher Julio Urias' next start to Friday against the San Diego Padres. While Gonsolin was a sleeper candidate entering 2021, he holds little value for the remainder of the campaign as his workload will surely be limited.--Patrick Doris
