Tommy Pham And Ha-Seong Kim Involved In Collision
4 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham (face) and infielder Ha-Seong Kim (head) both exited the game Wednesday against the Chicago Cubs after colliding in the outfield. The two players banged heads going full speed in the fourth inning and spent a considerable amount of time lying on the field. Per the postgame comments, it appears Kim avoided a concussion while Pham required stitches on his chin and is headed for a CT scan on his jaw. Probably considered day-to-day, it'd be a surprise if either player suited up Thursday to open a homestand against the New York Mets. The more fantasy relevant player, Pham was heating up at the dish but saw his seven-game hitting streak snapped after the abbreviated contest.
